Found it really tough to put together an expert lineup last night.

Early values for this week:

Rashad Jennings

SEA defense (vs MIN at home), maybe GB vs ARI

Titus Young

Not much value at QB. Eli has some value, but Vick is a risk with the late Sunday start.

The Cutler/Marshall combo looks like a great value every week, if only Cutler would hold up his end

I think Carson Palmer @ 7400 is probably the best value pick at QB with both Talib and Wright suspended, which makes Moore a good bet @6200. Stevie and Maclin @ 6200 and Dez @ 6300 also look tempting

First take for me:

Qb: Eli, Roth, Ryan

Rb: McGahee, McCoy, Forte, Matthews

Wr: Marshall, Wayne, Thomas, White, Decker, Moore, T Smith

Te: Graham, Gonzo, Miller, Witten

K: Walsh, Tucker, Graham, Dawson, Bryant, Tynes

D: GB, BAL, DET, CHI

Haven't really found lineups with Foster/ Rice that I'm comfortable with.

Tougher week than last, IMO.

I like Vick as a high risk/ high reward Thurs tourney QB.

Sub in Hauschka for Walsh- I think MIN's days of even reaching FG range are getting iffy. Lynch could go wild against them.

My kicker picks are often the ones that kill me. May have to find the $$ for Bryant or Tynes this week.

Marshall seems to be in a most of my lineups every week. I've avoided Cutler so far but this may be the week to use him in $55K contests.

need a cheap cheap sleeper

last week i had mccluster $4500

e sanders $4500 think there the same this week any others ?

I noticed you like T. Smith. His performance has ben pretty poor the last 3 weeks. If you think he's a good value I assume you think Flacco is also cheap as well? Do you think Haden matches up against him or Bolden?

Never even looked at Flacco actually. He burned me one week & I seem to have crossed him off my list without even realizing it. I like Smith as a value if you need to plug someone in at $5700 with a decent shot at having a good game. He's one of those guys with talent who shouldn't stay cold forever. I'm not sure if Haden plays on one guy always or if he sticks to a side. If he plays one guy, I think that guy would be Smith. As I make more lineups, I seem to be avoiding Smith in favor of the more steady, higher $$ WR. Seems like taking a shot with Jennings at RB is a safer bet if I'm trying to find more $$ for a Ryan, RG3, Foster, Rice, or Graham.

Weather is going to start becoming more of a concern as well. Have to pony up for a nice indoor matchup sometimes.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Calvin is going to go off this week? And at $7900 a bit cheaper than most weeks

Having a harder time than usual finding multiple lineups that I like, values seem to have fallen in line this week

I really, really don't like this weeks line-ups and match-ups. I still can't stop hitting the dang "SUBMIT LINEUP" button though.

I did a little research last night on my playing habits and I'm basically playing 50/50s, 3, 5, 10, and 20 teamers to support my Tournament habit. My real winnings are all tourneys.

Made $100 on NBA last night, and now letting it all ride again tonight to see if I can get a bigger bank roll for NFL on Sunday. I like this weeks matchups in NFL. I think it is a good week to stick with 2 of the big 3 RB's Foster/Rice/McCoy and find decent WR's with good matchups.

I really want to put Philly players in my lineup against NO but instead I'm just avoiding this week altogether. I finally reached my yearly goal last week and I fear going backwards.

I don't like spending on basketball but I made a couple dinners worth of cash last night too. My goal was to let everyone pay to get the Lakers and it worked out. Too many mouths to feed there and I've yet to see that get sorted out.

Has the starting-thursday games without thursday players strategy been working out? I'm giving it a try this week.

For me it did in week 7, but not so much in week 8 because I missed a couple of guys I didn't know were in danger of not playing. Have to be very careful on guys who are not 100% healthy since you can't make any changes after the Thursday games start.

Is anyone finding it better to go with the flow (the obvious picks) or against the grain and find some flyers? Or was last week just too easy with the Broncos against the Saints? Seems like everyone had 6 or 7 of the same players in the leagues I was picking in.

I think it depends on which leagues you play. Larger tournament probably require a more unique roster where you hit on players with a lower start percentage. I've had alot of luck in 50/50 just picking the best lineup possible. Seems like the boneheads usually weed themselves out and leave you in the money

Boldin seems to go off against CLE for some reason. I would guess Haden would take the deep coverage leaving Pitta and Boldin open underneath...but Flacco can't seem to hit anybody on the road, so I really only feel confident about the kickers in this one.

I really want to put Philly players in my lineup against NO but instead I'm just avoiding this week altogether. I finally reached my yearly goal last week and I fear going backwards.
Now that Vick's been given the vote of confidence to start, I think if they truly want to silence the critics, anything less than 300 yds and 3 TDs vs NO- whether rushing or passing- would still lead to more talks about replacing him. I think they really make an effort to showcase Vick on a national stage or risk further criticism. D. Jackson and Maclin are a crapshoot, but I like Vick and McCoy if I can't budget Foster this week.

Don't know about the rest of my line-ups but I like Steve Smith, Denarius Moore and Randall Cobb at WR leaving plenty of cash for other positions. We shall see. Also drinking the kool-aid and starting Chargers D in most leagues.

I am playing Vick for the first (and probably only time) in fanduel this year. I can see Vick getting more rushing yards than usual this week, as his job is on the line in this game.

I am pairing him with McCoy this week, so I do not have to grit my teeth if Vick breaks a long one that should have been McCoy's. I think they both get their points this week.

Surprised I haven't seen any mention of Lynch($7300) at home vs Minn. Stevens-Howling and the muscle hamster just tore them up. I also like Smitty vs Wash and maybe Cam, but I'll probably stick with Vick and RG3. I'm sure either DJAX or Maclin will have a good game, but I'm not sure which one.

Whenever Vick feels the pressure he melts. At that price I just don't feel comfortable throwing him in. He'll probably earn his value back at that price I want to earn plus value.

Good start! I had Matthews on one of my 2 rosters, and no SD Def. I hate starting out behind the 8 ball in these tourneys. I only takes one misfire to tank your team. Glad I have more $$ in the 50/50s, and only $30 on the line.

I'll have to see if I get inspired to click away on a full slate of contests, but only 4 tourneys on the docket so far.

Nice call w/ the SD DT though.

Whenever Vick feels the pressure he melts. At that price I just don't feel comfortable throwing him in. He'll probably earn his value back at that price I want to earn plus value.
He's been under pressure all year. The only other game I felt safe starting him was vs DET and he was a top QB that week. For $200 less than Newton with likely the same result for the week, I'll take it. Eli and Big Ben would be the only others around the same price point I would consider this week.Only Cassel can't get it done vs the Saints...

I had about 7 lineups starting last night and not one with SD Defense. Thought about it but didn't want any part of that game. Would have been a nice 25 point advantage and not having to worry about a defense on Sunday. Oh Well maybe my defense selections will put up 26 points

i only had SD D/st in 1 out of 10. I guess I need to rethink using thursday D/ST. Though the GB v ARI matchup looked just as juicy this week, hopefully it comes close.

I went back and forth between the Chargers and Packers DST and ended up choosing the latter. 25 pts is going to be tough to beat, but I've seen a few AZ games and that O-line is one of the worst in recent history.

I love this week, I have 2 lineups I really liked, I am in about 50 leagues (about 20 H2H, 20 9 man and the rest shots at the big ones)

I will either go down in flames this week or ride high.

I'd like to do NBA, but I know nothing about NBA really. I know this is a fb board but does anyone happen to have a good NBA fantasy site for daily matchups they trust? I'd be happy to share some FF insight if anyone would wanna help me in NBA
