I'd keep Upton and Nathan out of this group. Hoffman's getting older, Pierre offers no power or OBP, Blalock is a shell of what could have been, and Weeks is too much of a gamble at this point. I'd look at Polanco possibly, but is lack of speed and power are concerns. The rest you can punt.The rookies are good.Overall, I'd say you're on the right track.

Yeah, Upton's the only "sure" keeper out of that bunch. And as I said, I might consider Polanco if he had better power or speed numbers because he does help on the AVG, OBP (somewhat), and RBI categories that are pretty solid for a guy with 2B eligibility. But Nathan is one of the best closers in the game today, however you can look at a drop in K's and a rise in WHIP and hits allowed as potential red flags. But his saves are still at a solid clip.
 
Closers shouldnt be keepers, they are a dime a dozen as long as you keep up on current closer situations.
