I know some people wont care about this, but I was looking for some help with my protection list. Im starting to follow baseball more and this is my second year. It helps to fill the void with football gone.

We have a $300 salary cap with 30 roster spots and we start 15. Normal positions plus 6 pitchers. We didnt have pitchers last year but are drafting them this year. Stupid, I know. Here is the team with the '07 costs for each player:

Im looking for the best value. Im going to keep Vladi and Manny although very expensive. Im also keeping Crawford and Dye without question. Im also thinking of keeping Laroche, Lopez, and Ordonez. Any others I should think about keeping? TIA.

what the hell kind of league are you playing in where Carl Crawford goes for 5 bucks and Jason Varitek goes for 16? Magglio for 18?

Crawford is probably the most valuable player in fantasy after Arod, Pujols, Howard and Reyes.

I got some of these players in trades and that is what some people seriously paid for these people. Actually a little less since the price goes up every year based on production. I got Crawford dirt cheap 2 years ago and his price hasnt gone up that much. I aint complaining. I do appreciate the advice. Thanks!
