Not to distract the pool from the important shark level discussion of should I draft Kareem Huggins or Joique Bell in the last round of my rookie fantasy draft (I'd take a shot at Huggins myself) but upon request from the wife, I'm commishing a "friendly" fantasy football league for our families. Most of the teams will be owned by people who are casual football fans and have never played any fantasy sport of any kind.
My goal is not to crush them, although my instincts will be hard to resist, but to have a fun and friendly league and keep everyone involved although it may be difficult as I get the impression that the interest levels are variable.
I think I remember an article around here on the basics of fantasy football for the newbie. I want to help everyone as much as possible and I'd love to send them a primer so they have some idea of what they're getting into and have a shot at being competitive, and thus stay involved.
I imagine there are at least a few of us in the same boat, so any tips and a link to any such articles would be much appreciated!
