fantasy football shows (1 Viewer)

CBS Sportsline actually had a show on last week Sat or Sun. on, of course, CBS.

There was a FF show on PPV last week or so. Not sure how much it cost.

I think Sirrius has a show on Friday night.
Not on the web site schedule. Any info?
the show started last Friday, Friday nights 7-11 or 8-11. Its got John Henson (sp?) from fantasyguru.com and Adam Caplan I believe is the other guy. But someone more familiar with the show may know the hosts.
John Hansen and Adam Caplan. It's been going about a month already, actually. Fridays 8-11pm ET. Current rebroadcast is Sat night at the same time, but I think that is subject to change, esp. with preseason games on tomorrow.

I'm listening right now!

It IS on the schedule, BTW:

Sirius NFLRadio

For other shows, FFRadio has a listing of a few--including Gridiron Grumblings, which is pretty classic (starts Sep 1, podcasted)--and there are all kinds of independently produced webcasts that can be found via iTunes, or searching at Yahoo podcasts.

Show on Sirius is probably going to be Thursday this week because of the pre-season games. The show has been replayed on Saturday mornings from 5-8am est, only was replayed once on Saturday on 124. Replay on 123 may be at a much better time. Check sirius.com for schedule. We'll know probably this week when it will be replayed during the season.

I listened to a few podcasts last year, an NFL show with Jaws and a Sunday morning radio show Fantasy Source on Sporting News Radio network and they all suck. Jaws was the worst since you could tell he knew nothing about fantasy football. I get the feeling that NFL "purists" snicker at and look down upon us fantasy sports enthusiasts since they are close to the games and players, a bunch of sports snobs if you ask me.

Most of the shows are lame because they give all the predictable common knowledge and turn into "who should I start" at some point in the season. They don't get into the details like we do here in the Shark Pool.

The shows only value IMO, is to pump you up for the fantasy season and that's cool but I just don't have time to hear a rehash of common knowledge.

ESPN2 will have a weekly FF show every Thursday beginning August 31st. It is on here in DFW at 4:30 pm and rerun at midnight.
It is called The Fantasy Show. They've promoted it on Sportscenter. I think it is 5:30 EDT (jibes with 4:30 in Dallas). Can't remember the host's name but "Mr Roto" (Matthew Berry?) and Jaworski are on it.
