Insoxicated
I'm sure SOME of you know about this site but they've been gradually adding features and I'll argue now it's one of the best tools on the web. When paired with a FBG subscription you're pretty much good to go for the year.
The basic premise is pretty much every fantasy expert from across the spectrum submits weekly rankings to the site. They then do a lot of pretty cool stuff with that data....
Some of the features:
EXPERT RANKINGS
The site does an excellent job of ranking the fantasy experts based on their accuracy. YOu'll see Dodds up there at #6 out of 90 experts thus far this year(he's finished as high as #2 in 2010)
It even breaks down accuracy by position so you can figure out who knows QBs, who knows RBs, etc.
WEEKLY PLAYER RANKINGS:
These rankings start off based on the consensus of 102 experts and you can even go in and check/uncheck experts you like/don't like. IT shows best/worst/average to help with those tough decisions on a weekly basis. They even have cool player news pages that cull some good updates on news/injuries/expert comments.
PLAYER START SIT TOOL
Just looking for a quick comparison of two players in standard or PPR leagues? Bam. Use this.
FFL ARTICLES
Some good writing in here. Nothing quite on par with FBG but it's culled from a variety of sources (Yahoo, Rotoworld, Fantasy Sharks, etc). You can sort by topics (Busts, injuries, IDP, Sleepers, etc), or by source. Good stuff in here.
MY PLAYBOOK
You can import your team from popular FF sites (1 free, 3 for $5, unlimited for $10) and it will give you a control panel with rankings, injury news, matchup info, as well as rest of season looks (including matchup strength grids). THEN it goes a step further and shows Best Available (From your wire) along with their rankings, matchups going forward, etc. I highly suggest folks take a look at this feature for themselves.
I have NO connection/interest in Fantasypros... and it definitely doesn't replace FBG, who have killer MyFBG tools (based on your exact scoring system) to improve accuracy for your league. (NOt to mention the tens of thousands of pages of great content in addition to the rankings.
That said, every good toolbox has a few tools in it... and this is definitely one that belongs in every semi-serious FF player's arsenal.
