I'm sure SOME of you know about this site but they've been gradually adding features and I'll argue now it's one of the best tools on the web. When paired with a FBG subscription you're pretty much good to go for the year.

The basic premise is pretty much every fantasy expert from across the spectrum submits weekly rankings to the site. They then do a lot of pretty cool stuff with that data....

Some of the features:

EXPERT RANKINGS

The site does an excellent job of ranking the fantasy experts based on their accuracy. YOu'll see Dodds up there at #6 out of 90 experts thus far this year(he's finished as high as #2 in 2010) It even breaks down accuracy by position so you can figure out who knows QBs, who knows RBs, etc.

WEEKLY PLAYER RANKINGS:

These rankings start off based on the consensus of 102 experts and you can even go in and check/uncheck experts you like/don't like. IT shows best/worst/average to help with those tough decisions on a weekly basis. They even have cool player news pages that cull some good updates on news/injuries/expert comments.

PLAYER START SIT TOOL

Just looking for a quick comparison of two players in standard or PPR leagues? Bam. Use this.

FFL ARTICLES

Some good writing in here. Nothing quite on par with FBG but it's culled from a variety of sources (Yahoo, Rotoworld, Fantasy Sharks, etc). You can sort by topics (Busts, injuries, IDP, Sleepers, etc), or by source. Good stuff in here.

MY PLAYBOOK

You can import your team from popular FF sites (1 free, 3 for $5, unlimited for $10) and it will give you a control panel with rankings, injury news, matchup info, as well as rest of season looks (including matchup strength grids). THEN it goes a step further and shows Best Available (From your wire) along with their rankings, matchups going forward, etc. I highly suggest folks take a look at this feature for themselves.

I have NO connection/interest in Fantasypros... and it definitely doesn't replace FBG, who have killer MyFBG tools (based on your exact scoring system) to improve accuracy for your league. (NOt to mention the tens of thousands of pages of great content in addition to the rankings.

That said, every good toolbox has a few tools in it... and this is definitely one that belongs in every semi-serious FF player's arsenal.

Big fan since last year. Fantasypros and FBG are the two sites I use and I've been pretty successful.

ETA: I questioned here why FBG doesn't have the import feature like FantasyPros does. MyFBG is great but it's an absolute pain in the ### to manually keep my rosters up to date in my non-MFL leagues. I'm in two CBS leagues and when I log into FantasyPros, they have my exact roster, top available free agents, etc. If MyFBG could do this it would be phenomenal, don't know why this isn't getting any traction.

Yep! I used FP's a bit last year but only for the sit/start tool as a tie breaker when Dodds/bloom/tremblay were all divided on a move (and obviously I myself was conflicted). None of these tools should be followed blindly but information is king in this hobby. I concur. That would be fantastic.... it's a PITA keeping up with roster moves on MyFBG no doubt. The automated feature like FantasyPros integrated into MyFBG would make it a true killerAPP.

I only discovered them this year so I don't know about historically, but I REALLY like what I've seen this year.

I love Fantasy Pros. I ended up purchasing the "My Playbook" service after finding i can only sync 10 leagues with MyFBG. Great interface, great tool!

Thanks for the heads up. I'd seen their consensus rankings before, but I'd never looked into the My Playbook function. At first glance it looks pretty cool and solves the problem of not being able to import my CBS league into the MyFBG tool like I can with my MFL league.

Very cool site thanks for the heads up. I didn't know it got this much better since last year. Definitely good to have along with a FBG subscription, seems like all you need now.

I'm liking it so far but does anyone know how to adjust the scoring system to reflect my league settings?
You can't... that's one area where MyFBG blows it out of the water. In player rater you can specify PPR or standard but that's it.kinda why I said this:

I can't seem to find the player rater. I'd be happy using that if it's possible. Where is it on the team home page?

Been a huge fan of FantasyPros for a couple years now. What blew me away this year was their draft tool called Cheat Sheet Wizard. Looks like they switched over to NBA now, but the football draft tool was sweet. Drag and drop cheat sheets, mock simulations, analyze any draft (like importing FFCalculator mocks), and best of all, live synching with your real drafts. I did all my drafts with the tool. Only issue was no custom scoring, but all my leagues play pretty close to Standard and PPR, so it worked for me. Definitely going to use it again next year.
