Enjoying this season, but not nearly as good as season 1 or season 2. At least, so far.
OK, I found one... that puking tooth picking guy is awesome. The chick is starting to grow on me too now that she got the crap beat out of her. Glad they killed the brother instead of her although the way he died was pretty cartoonish.I haven't enjoyed it as much so far as the first two seasons or as much as the current season of Better Call Saul. Trying to figure out why and I think it's because I just don't care about any of the characters anymore. None of these new guys get me excited to cheer for them.
This just sounds awful. And fits the show of course. The chick is starting to grow on me too now that she got the crap beat out of her
It's just that she was kinda pretentious before is all I'm sayin, dontcha know. This just sounds awful. And fits the show of course.
Yeah, torn between that was very creative symbolism and that's the moment they jumped the shark.Glad they killed the brother instead of her although the way he died was pretty cartoonish.
nowas that the same motel from the end of last season? Doubt it matters...just curious
Seems to be a running gag that they make his oral hygiene worse by the weekKindaChief v. PukeTooth is gonna be more fun than Spidey v DocOc!
Yeah, by the payoff, his gums will be hosting naught but enamel Aliens with "British problems" in their own spiky dentrifrices.Seems to be a running gag that they make his oral hygiene worse by the week
She's the only one not intimidated by him. That seems to have him off guard.KindaChief v. PukeTooth is gonna be more fun than Spidey v DocOc!
looked to me like he was swiping. good ep.This far in, I'm liking season 3 more than season 2.
Also, was the male cop browsing Tinder in 2010 on his Blackberry?
I want to see her and Gloria Burgle star in "Thelma & Thelma-er"Nikki Swango has had a rough few days.
I figure that means she'll live.
No way, this season is not as realistic nor as entertaining. Season II was perfect, this one is good but flawed in an artistic sense. The episode where the Eden Valley Cop goes to LA was a complete waste, nothing at all there. Season II had no wasted episodes IMO.This far in, I'm liking season 3 more than season 2.
To me, that scene is indicative of what separates the previous seasons from this one. There was a believability to the cop letting Malvo go. We understood why he didn't stop him. They took the time to make him a real person with family considerations (single father not wanting to leave his daughter without parents). This season? Even the chief in season one at least had logic to his stupidity. What do we get in season 3.....mashed potato theory? I think the guy even said 'you'd have to be some kind of intellectual to believe something like that'.The cop that let the Rssian guy stay in the library reminded me of the cop in Season 1 who walked away when Malvo told him to. The season 1 cop was the one who finally got Malvo.
Yeah, he was real smooth. He also started in with Nikki's motive before being told that Ray was murdered. Winnie was likelol at the brother - I've BEEN HERE SINCE 6?

Your borther died.
This is what drew me to the show in the first place - Lorne Malvo's totally original selfishness logic, revisited in Puketooth.btw, what was the deal with my man Varga opening all the Christmas gifts? Love that guy.
Hippie with a power fetish? Go on ...This is what drew me to the show in the first place - Lorne Malvo's totally original selfishness logic, revisited in Puketooth.
I'm a hippie. Stuff don't phase me. The only impression y'all's sous vides & Hamilton tickets make on me is how many African villages could have fresh food & clean water for what it costs and what prisoners y'all are to that ####. The power that gets the freedom to execute parking lot jackholes and open someone else's Christmas gifts with impunity - now THAT's interesting!
Power's a means - originality is the end.Hippie with a power fetish? Go on ...
Just a reminder that it once rained fish on this show.
he's so good. his reactions are money. he plays so well off of the other characters, I just seem to watch him in every scene to see how he reacts to what the other people are saying/doing.BTW, Michael Stuhlbarg also killing it.
Holy ####, Rothstein from Boardwalk Empire...the mustache completely threw me off.BTW, Michael Stuhlbarg also killing it. Another Coen movie alum (A Serious Man) ... is this a record for # of actors in the tv series that also were in Coen Bros movies? Stuhlbarg, Thewlis ... anybody else?
ETA: Fred Melamed
You really didn't know it was him? Yeah he's great in this.Holy ####, Rothstein from Boardwalk Empire...the mustache completely threw me off.
Never in a million years would've known that was Rothstein. Holy ####.he's so good. his reactions are money. he plays so well off of the other characters, I just seem to watch him in every scene to see how he reacts to what the other people are saying/doing.
Xmas 2010-March 2011The first 15 minutes were.. Then it went into "Fargo Land" ..
but satisfying at the same time..
I don't do very good at following dates in TV shows.. Just how far into the Future did we jump from the drugging of Mustache, to the Hospital room?

How soNow I have to rewatch that "LA Trip" episode and see what it means, definitely sheds new light on that outlier episode.
