Favre Indicates He'll Return In 2008 (1 Viewer)

This was pretty much a given. When you are better than 80+ % of the current NFL QB at his age, why quit playing?

I imagine Aaron Rodgers wakes up most mornings what he did to deserve such bad luck on draft day. Then he probably looks at how banged up Alex Smith has been for 3 years since the SF line is so poor, and he probably grins and goes back to bed.

I would think so. There are certainly worse ways to make living.

Well, he has to live in Wisconsin, which is probably a bit of a bummer. But otherwise, I agree with your post.

As someone that has hated every minute of living in Wisconsin, I cannot stress how well you hit the nail on the head.

This is great news for football. He's a lot of fun to watch, good for the game, and still great at what he does. Lets hope he announces thsi one way or the other right from the get-go and the team can concentrate on building for next season (after they win the Superbowl...of course. ha! OK, after they lose to the Pats)

Right decision here. He's re-established himself as a top 5 QB, why retire if you're still great at doing what you love?

Boooo. If you didn't enjoy it, you likely weren't doing it right.
