Favre: Only the Patriots Can Beat the Patriots --

The Detroit News reports Packers QB Brett Favre sees one team that can beat the 10-0 New England Patriots.

and the whole time in Favre's head he was going "I could beat them by myself... I could beat them by myself... I could beat them by myself..."

Actual quote doesn't have the QB in:

"Unbelievable, isn't it?" Favre said. "What else can you say? I think Tom's play, statistically, there is no one to compare him to, even Peyton Manning. He's unbelievable the way he playing right now."

If only the Patriots can beat the Patriots, how could that happen? Over-confidence in approach, play-calling, or taking opponents too lightly? Also, any thoughts on which is the best team not to win a Superbowl in an outstanding season? What went wrong for them?

...and so far only the Bears can beat the Packers...
And that was mostly a fluke. The Colts can definitely beat NE when they get healthy.
no they can'tnot in january @Foxboro
Why is that? Is there a rule that games at Foxboro in January the home team can have 15 guys on the field? Or does the visting team only get 3 downs not 4? If you watched that game in INdy you know a healthy Colts wins that easily. Everyone knows the Pats are having the best season in the history of the NFL. Everyone outside of New England also knows everyone inside of New England is scared as hell to play Indy again anywhere, anytime. ( I am not even a Colts fan)

Why do you suppose BB kept the play calling conservative for most of the game?I'll tell you why.

Because he intends to DESTROY the Colts in the playoffs 63-0.

Mark it down.

Here is a look at the NFL teams with the best records on/after Thanksgiving since 2001 (includes playoffs):

Patriots -- 40-8

Steelers -- 33-12

Eagles -- 31-16

Packers -- 25-15

Dolphins -- 21-15

Seahawks -- 24-18

 In Foxboro or not Indy is the only team that has played the Pats close this year. They certainly have the talent to beat the Patriots.

This Colts team is much better than back then. The Colts have a D now. The loss of Freeny is big, but Bob Sanders is the main guy on D. He is the leader and they are great when he plays.Dungy has said that had these last few weeks been playoff games, Marvin would be in there. He should be good to go.

The Colts looked decent on offense even without their 1 and 3 WR. Plus all the injuries on the Oline.

If the Colts are healthy, they will make it back to the Superbowl.
