Ummm...huh? Not sure your scoring system...but in mine (1 pt for 25 yards passing, 3 pt bonus for 300 yard game, 4 points per passing TD, 6 for rushing)Favre has outscored Big Ben 7 times. (week 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12).Ben got him in week 1 and if you count his 26 in week 7 against Favre's 5 points in week 6 (Pitt on a bye in 6, Favre on a bye in 7)...then Ben got him there...and in week 9...and by one point in week 10.Favre has been over 20 points 8 times this year...Ben 4 times.Twice Favre has been at 10 or fewer...Ben, 3 times.Favre has been far more consistent and been outscoring Big Ben.And while scoring systems might differ...not sure they are making up for some of the point differentials in Favre vs. Big Ben this year. But each week, Ben has either outperformed or been equal to Favre, except for the last two. And in the last two, Ben had better or equal matchups on paper. You can also throw out last week for comparison has Brett played in a Dome, while Ben played in a swamp. Couldn't predict that one.So, no not silly at all, IMO. But you're point is taken, I've been expecting a few more of these games from Favre than we've seen.

This is one reason I hate yahoo, I have the hardest time comparing fantasy stats between players. This is all I can tell you. Ben has outscored Favre on the season, and I remember looking at this once before a few weeks ago, cause I looked at it one day and wondered myself why I had Favre on my bench. Comparison showed Ben was the better weekly performer.QB scoring isUmmm...huh? Wow. Stunned by the decision, but maybe even more stunned he didn't trade one of them somewhere along the line. He must be stacked at other positions as well.Guy in one of my leagues started Favre over Romo...![]()
I think Farve's backup didn't do that bad. I mean Farve had 2 interceptions. I still can't get over that end zone play with TO and the interception.weasel3515 said:Division championship (and automatic playoff spot) was on the line. "Ironman" Favre goes down. Goodbye season. Ahh...that will do it.In my scoring Favre is up almost 50 points on Ben for the year...though last night's 0 he got me will hurt. This is one reason I hate yahoo, I have the hardest time comparing fantasy stats between players. Passing TDs are 6 points. Ben has 28 to Favre's 22. 4 points is probably far more common, so that's why it was working out that way in the yahoo league. Don't know if that's standard yahoo or this particular commish who set it up but, in any case, that's why I start Ben over Favre in that particular league.

Exactly, if I had been playing a slacker team it may not be crucial but I'm playing a solid team. Worse yet, that team has Tomlinson so you know I needed every point. Really though, this should go under a Venting thread.Frank Black said:For those who are in playoffs right now, our opponents are teams who usually perform consistently at all the positions.
