BIDDEFROGS

Got my notification from Coach Dobbs today. A thousand thanks to you,Coach Bryant and Coach Drinen. Not bad for a 56 year old from Maine. Still got 72% of my teeth and 80% of my gray hair. For the last eight years I have been the commissioner of a ten team auction league with IDP.FBG has been the motherlode of information for me. Winning the thousand dollars is nice but beating a lot of talented players is more satisfying. I am donating half to my wife's church general fund which will be used to pay someone's oil, electric or food bills. The other half will be donated to a theraputic horse riding stable for handicapped children. Horse riding has really been a huge awakening for my handicapped daughter. Thanks again from a long time Patriots homer.

BTW, biddefrogs is a perfect example of what I love about the depth of this board. How many of you guys had seen him post before? Not many. He doesn't post a lot. But he's a triple digit member and has been here a LONG time. And he obviously knows what he's doing to do what he did in the contest.

I think he's exactly indicative of the bigger group that makes up this board. They don't make a lot of noise but they're here and reading and contributing and making this board what it is.

f'n awesome! I have no idea where I wound up, but I'm glad I didn't win. Way to go!
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking!!!I would have pissed that grand away soooo fast. I'm glad someone with integrity won. That said, I will heretofore donate half of my yearly FF winnings (SERIOUSLY!) to a local charity (to be named later as I know of none off hand :lmao: ) in the spirit of my new guru Biddefrogs.I am moved by your generosity, sir.A worthy FBG Champion!Well done, indeed.- Jerm

it'd be more fun if he promised to spend half on booze and the other half on hookers, but oh well. congrats.

:sarcasm:

you rule....seriously

99 & 44/100% of us wouldn't have done anything close to what you propose

hats off to one of the few men among us, as there certainly are folks in your region in need of some serious help these days

well done, 'frogman!

And to think I was soooo disappointed I lost that I had to get out of my cold, dark, empty house and take old misty of chincoteague out for a ride. funny how things work out.

honestly biddefrogs, very admirable. hope more good things come your way. :wall:

Outstanding job! Not only did you take down the best of the best, you went way over the top and reminded us that fantasy football is wonderful hobby (and living for some) that has many great people involved. You made alot of us feel really good about being a small part of FBG's. My thanks to you for doing that for yourself, us and those that will benefit from your generosity. You are the man!
