FBG Sleeperbot - question for FBG STAFF (1 Viewer)

Question for the FBG staff...

I downloaded the Sleeperbot app and have been glancing at it since you guys said you'd be using it this year. Question, though...

Why host those "live Q&A" sessions over on Sleeperbot instead of having them here on your own message board. Now I have to pop into multiple places to get FBG staff thoughts? I assume the answer must be that the audience there on Sleeperbot is larger than this message board, so you're hopefully attracting a wider audience to your product?

just seems a shame that we don't get those same kind of live Q&A sessions with FGB staff right here on your own forum.

I am not a staff member for FBG, but IMO it is a different way of advertising.  There are users at Sleepbot who are not current FBG users/subscribers.  If FBG provides some content on Sleepbot that those "current non-FBG subscribers" like, then some of them will become new subscribers to FBG.  And FBG goal is to have more users and more paying subscribers (i.e. more money coming in which is one of the  primary goals for all businesses).

It is basically the same thing as the twitter #AskFBG Q&A.......they are just doing it via a different host.

And they are not excluding current FBG because they are telling the users here about the content they are providing at Sleepbot.

Yeah. Fair enough and I kind of alluded to that in my original post. Just would like an official word to us paying members that they're having paid FBG staff spend time at sleepbot instead of here, so we're fully aware as subscribers. 

But, then again, maybe there was an announcement in one of the daily emails or something that I missed. 

Woud love to hear either way.

The shark pool best left as that weird smelling lobby at the bus station of any major city. The apps are meant to be an "executive lounge" tucked away from the riff-raff.

I prefer the bus station. Sure, that guy with the sign proclaiming, "The End Is Near" is almost always wrong. Almost.
