Off the cuff -

I will avoid, for various reasons (auction draft):

LT

T Jones

Addai

Brees (overpriced)

Owens

Burress (like the plague)

Gonzo

I will target:

Forte

Slaton

P Thomas

Cutler

Romo (underpriced)

Brady

R White (again - wanted him this year)

TJ Housh

Fitz and And Johnson (despite both costly)

V Jackson

Witten (see Fitz)

Depending on your league Tomlinson could be great value next year.

I doubt it. Too many people will say "but he's healthy now and he's still LT" etc etc. He won't be as costly as this year but way too risky IMO. And this is from a guy who's had LT and happy about it in the past. No thanks.

I think he will be drafted all over the place next year. If you are in a league where everyone is afraid of him going the Alexander route he my drop a bit. To over look him as a player that could be your #2 is foolish.

How will Brees be overpriced?
You're kidding I hope.

I don't think he will drop far enough to be obtained as RB2 and again his risk of dropping off altogether means paying much for him is IMO foolish.

It's all about value. But to just say you won't consder him at all no matter what isn't the best of ideas.

i'd expect him to slip to the top of the 2nd. i can think of 12 players i'd rather have, but as a RB 2 he'd be great value.

I very seriously doubt they are more pathetic than this year and yet he put up a decent season. I like the value possibilities.

How is Romo underpriced? The guy is good for at least 1 turnover per game, possibly two or more..

he sucks in big games..he S-U-C-K-S in weeks 14 and 16, which are the fantasy playoffs and usually the fantasy championship game...His team is a mess, Owens is likely to be cut in March, I think Dallas has grown tired of his antics..then what remains? stone-hands Crayton who suffers from the dropsies, and 'slow as molasses on a cold January night' Roy Williams.. :lmao:

Romo tops the list of players I'm avoiding next season..don't want his 345 yard 3 td performances, esp since they're followed by the 181 yard, 3 int, 2 fumble ( one for TD) games ..and, the guy is the biggest choker since Scott Norwood..

I'll add:

Matt Ryan

R. White

Witten

Tony Gonzalez ( esp if traded to NYG !)

Derrick Ward ( likely to be Denver's starting RB - or should be, he's better than anything else they have!)

AJ

Michael Bush ( thinking he's going to be dealt to SD in the off-season)

Bowe

Calvin

D. Williams

MJD ( if only for the TDs)

agree on Pierre Thomas, Slaton, etc.

Fred Jackson, if he's traded or becomes a free agent and winds up on another team - he could be special elsewhere.

But I'd avoid

LT

Lynch - Fred Jackson is just plain better

T.O.

Romo

Westbrook - injuries

Winslow II - injury prone

Brandon Jacobs - barely 1000 rush yards every year, and always gets nicked up..too big too last as a starting RB..

Steve Smith - Car. - every other year WR..next year is his 'off' year.

Caddy - he's nothing special at the RB position..

Gore - injury prone

Sjax - injury prone

McNabb - just an average QB

Matt Hasselbeck

any Az RB..

FWP/Moore/Mendenhall

any NE RB..

and of course, never-ever-ever draft Lee Evans..

I'll definitely target Schaub in the middle/late rounds, Palmer...Daniels, Carlson, Z. Miller, at TE...R. Brown, Addai, FWP could offer value (depends on their ADP), McFadden...Wr wise - Rice (if they can get a QB), V. Jax, Ginn possibly, Wayne if he drops, definitely target A. Gonzalez, Bowe, Chad Johnson/Housh possibly, B. Edwards definitely.

Avoid TO, ....T. Jones, Slaton,
