FFA Charity 5$ raffle Chance For Hope..See Inside (3 Viewers)

WOW, this is great. I bought raffle tickets off of amazon and will start giving people their numbers tonight by posting them next to their name in the OP.
Just a suggestion... I'm not worried about it because I know you, but I would recommend doing the drawing online. There are random number generators that you can put a list of numbers into, randomize it, and have the results emailed to someone. That way you can copy someone on the drawing result and people know it's all legit.

edit - actually the one I know about that is verifiable costs $5. There is a free version that is not verifiable by a 3rd party.

I like this. Makes things easier too. Please post the link.

Free version: http://www.random.org/sequences/

Assign everyone a number of tickets:

Worm: 1-20

BobSac: 21-40

etc.

It randomizes the sequence of Numbers. If there are two prizes, the top 2 numbers are the winners. This option is not verifiable by anyone other than you.

Pay Version ($4.95): http://www.random.org/draws/

You upload a list of entries. If someone has 20 tickets, you might label them Worm1 through Worm20 or something like that. Select the number of prizes. The website will randomly draw the winners and email you the results. Also, anyone else will be able to go to the website and view the winners and losers, so it's verifiable by everyone.

EDIT - Actually try Randompicker.com. I think this is a free version of the paid method I described above! Allows public results.

EDIT2 - Cav - if you want me to help with the actual raffle part let me know and I'll take care of it.

Just changed my AmazonSmile charity to the Chance For Hope Foundation.

For those not familiar with the program, your price is exactly the same for stuff you buy on Amazon... they just donate a percentage of your purchase to your elected charity. It's super easy and doesn't cost you a thing.
Just did the same. Great idea.
Did it here too.
Wish I knew this BEFORE I shopped the hell out of Amazon in the run up to Christmas... :kicksrock:

Edited to add: Done.

Mike zangrilli can have that number

In for $44 (Icky Woods # and my little guys favorite commercial). Confirmation Number, 8CM35653W8298840R. Did it via linking in from the FBG mobile App but turned my phone from sideways before I could copy the number down at the time, so I'm not positive that this is right. Looks it, but I'm not sure  (Just count the $40)

Thanks Worm, you can do the raffle part, it really helps me out as I have to go to PA unexpectedly tomorrow or Thursday. Bobby Sac PM me a good point. Only 1 prize per person. Also Worm, it would do one drawing with 3 winning names. First name prize 1, second name prize 2, and 3rd name in case the same person wins 1&2.

Sounds good GB. I'll start pulling together the list of entries per the first page here.

I will consider the first page ***OFFICIAL*** come 5 pm on the 1st. It's up to individuals to double check what Cav has you listed for.

I have the first page updated to simsarge's donation.

So $270 short of 5K.

This is unacceptable. Let's go people. Get into the big threads where you post a lot and know that no one there has gotten in here and tell them they need to pony up 10 bucks. We need 27 people to do that.

Ramdompicker.com Project ID for future reference: 137936x19936.

I will keep the entry list up to date through 1/1 at 5pm at which time it closes. At that time I will hit the 'final draw' button to draw winners. I will publish a link to the results for the above project and you will be able to go and verify that you were included and your number of entries ("weight" on that site).

Good luck to everyone and thanks for all the awesome donations and Fat Uncle for pulling this together.

Just seeing this thread now- I never look at what's been pinned

soooooo happy to give something here- wish I could give a lot more.

If you could, please pick 5 or more names deep. I suspect I and maybe a couple of other folks might not want the prize, and might ask you to shift down to the next winner in line if we get one. Thanks fellas for the awesome effort on this.
