We participated in a 14 round mock draft with 11 other fantasy football websites. Because we did this mock draft in February, 2007 rookies were not included.

jackson @ 5 is a steal for toolbox.. addai at 2.5 looks good.. that round 3 wr run is nasty.. id rather wait a round or two and grab driver/ward than spend a 3rd on housh..

Jones was before the Schefter reports and Dillon release, but I should have had the guts to take Maroney. I think Caddy in the 3rd is a fine pick in the format this league has (1/2/2/1/1/1 w/flex no PPR)

I think Bloom got taken out behind the woodshed in this mock. No problem with Caddy in the 3rd...but KJ in the 2nd with all the news swirling about his foot issues? S.Smith would have been a nice 2nd round pick. I would have selected Gates over Lee Evans in the 4th.

I really didn't think it was all that important to get a stud #1 WR with no PPR. I was much more focused on making sure I had a good shot at a starting RB in my flex. Ill admit that I should have gone with Maroney. I was too focused on the Dillon risk. As far as Evans over Gates, Evans is a true fantasy WR1 at this point, and again, I think no PPR really blunts Gates value. I don't see that big a drop from SSmith to Evans.What other picks make you feel I got taken out back and whupped?

He reported a few days after this mock started that KJ would not return until around week 8. Up to that point, the most recent reports had been that he was on schedule to return for opening day, but the reality is that no one knows, its too early in the process. So, yes, I blew it. I full acknowledge that KJ in the 2nd was a cardinal sin - I was too focused on getting an RB that would carry the full load instead of minimizing risk.Im still decently happy with the rest of the draft...

I'm just giving you a hard time Bloom. It would be hard for me to take Rudi over Portis, but I don't have any real problem with the pick. I wouldn't have taken Vince Y in the 5th. I'm guessing you would have taken Benson if he would have slipped one more spot to you in the 6th. I dont' see M.Turner going anywhere this season...but the pick is worth rolling the dice. I like the Norwood pick & Witten was great value. I would have taken a chance with Lendale White a round before he was selected.
