Final Pre-Combine Rankings (1 Viewer)

And, for those wondering, I have the Linebackers coming either tomorrow night or Monday morning, and the Secondary Rankings will be coming Monday Night.

I know that the Combine has already started, but I had these rankings done prior to the weigh-in's and workouts. For the Tight Ends and Offensve Lineman, I did have them up and posted on another site prior to the events starting. I didn't use any of the Combine weigh-in's, but the most recent based on the information I could find (Senior Bowl for those who played in at some measurements from East-West Shrine Game and Texas vs. The Nation Game that I could find). I just wanted to get these up to show what I thought of these players prior to the Combine.

Any other questions or comments, please feel free to post. Thank You.

Who are the best NT prospects for 3-4 teams and where/what round are they being projected at.
Here's my top 3-4 NT's:1. Busari “B.J.” Raji-Boston College

-Not his ideal position, but B.J. can certainly fit it. B.J. is quick off the snap, strong at the point, and when at his best, commands a double team. He really broke out as a Senior, but didn't display his 1st Round talent untill this past year. Shows some inconsistent in his technique and doesn't always have proper pad level and leverage, which is a must for a 3-4 NT. Still the guy is a 1st Round talent and could be really hard for a team like San Francisco or Denver to pass-up, two 3-4 teams.

2. Ronald Brace-Boston College

-Big man that teamed with Raji. Brace isn't nearly as quick or athletic as Raji, but he is pretty much just as strong and he's just as big. He is inconsistent as well with his technique, but plays with some nastiness. A developmentally guy who should crack the 2nd Round due to the great potential he has shown.

3. Terrence Taylor-Michigan

-Taylor has a lot of talent, but rarely plays up to it. He has experience as a 3-4 NT and has shown flashes, but they are few and far between. Nonetheless, the kid has a lot of talent, and has good size to play the nose for the 3-4 if he added a bit more strength. He really needs to work on his technique and needs some hard coaching. Enough potential though to land him in the 4th-5th Round range.

Honestly, those are the only three who truly could fit in as a 3-4 NT. Some guys like Sammie Lee Hill, Dorell Scott, and Khalif Mitchell are late round guys (who need a lot of development) that intrigue due to their strength, but Hill and Mitchell are both very tall for 3-4 NT's and Scott would need to add strength. It's a very hard position to fill which is why I could see San Fran or Denver taking B.J. Raji. Raji has too much talent and if what they are looking for otherwise isn't on the board, they could be very tempted to fill their voids at Nose Tackle.

Robiskie at 12, are you kidding me?
If it makes you feel better, he is moving up to 8th after today. My Top 7 is staying as is (I correctly predicated DH-B's forty which I'm happy about :lmao: ). Robo is a great route runner, catches the ball, and has great hand-eye coordination, but he isn't an elite athlete and has struggled to seperate.

Pre-combine rankings with combine numbers... a new and novel approach.
They aren't the Combine numbers at all. As my 2nd post says, they are the most recent numbers I had prior to the Combine. I'm sorry if a few of them (like my predication for Darrius Heyward-Bey's forty) are correct. I had heard Maybin was going to measure in at 250 lbs., so that's what I listed him at. I knew Mike Wallace was one of the fastest in the draft, so I pegged him at 4.35 and was only .02 off. If you look, I did miss, such as Kenny McKinnely and Johnny Knox. Once again, in the rankings are the most recent numbers I had PRIOR to the Combine.

Well, perhaps I was hasty, but you posted this thread on Sunday at near 1pm. The combine started on Wednesday. It was almost over by the time you started this thread. Call it a mid-combine, whatever, but it's simply too late to call it a pre-combine anything. You should have had this up by Wednesday at the latest, or call it something else.

They were my rankings though that reflecting what I thought of these players BEFORE the Combine, hence Pre-Combine Rankings. As I said, I had them posted else where also. Defensive Lineman and Linebackers go tomorrow, and I'm in the process of putting up the Linebackers, BEFORE they workout...

I've liked this kid since the bowl game. He really turned it on the last few games of the season and won more over in the Cotton Bowl. Senior Bowl helped solidify my opinion on him. The kid is a blazer to say the least...
