I find this interesting that he has four of the first five picks as QBs, and five of the first eight. I don't follow college football. I thought this was a relatively weak QB class.

He says that he believes that the Rams will deal out of that second pick. I think they won't get the haul of picks they got in the RGIII trade but I do think they will trade the #2 they have, and if so many teams are planning on QB in the first round they should do really well.

I am a Bears fan so I hope this guy is right about all these QBs going early because that would vastly improve the player the Bears can get at 14.

That is a seriously bad mock draft as far as the Browns are concerned.

They are not taking Manziel if he comes out at 4 and Beckham when there are better WR's on the board for their 2nd, 1st round pick?

A DE in the 3rd round when D line is not as glaring a need as other positions?

The only sensible pick he has for them is the RB pick in the 3rd round wityh the extra 3rd round pick they have.

He has the Bears taking a QB in the third round. That makes no sense. If the Bears resign Cutler they may take a QB late. If they don't resign Cutler they would probably take a QB no later than the second. However, if he is right in that QBs jump off the board early in the first, it may put the Bears in a bad place if they don't resign Cutler. I'd prefer to see the Bears franchise Cutler and see how he performs next year. But that is a story for another thread.

I don't usually like his mocks, but the first round isn't terrible at all.
Really? I hate being over critical of mocks this early.. Or ever for that matter. This one is awful IMO. Not having Clowney in the top 5 and Barr out of the top 10 are criminal mistakes. They are arguably the best 2 players in the draft at demand positions.

Yeah, but they're not without "warts" (or scheme-specific, if you prefer).

Character issues could conceivably push Clowney down.

And Barr is seen as a bit of a one trick pony by some people and is better suited to 3-4 OLB whereas most of the top 10 teams are 4-3 defenses.

And I did say "isn't terrible" which isn't the same as "really good".

Lot of rumors being reported that the Browns front office wants Manziel.
