First week - TD/ST question streamer???? (1 Viewer)

OK standard league ESPN. I drafted the Ravens for TD. First week they face KC which as we all know is a decent offensive team. My backup QB is Tua and i don't need him until week 14. Thinking maybe I should dump him for the roster space and rotate some other TDs through that spot for weeks the Ravens face hig powered Os.

About to pull the trigger on a streamer before Thurs game. Thoughts?

Depends who is available to stream. I would probably do it for the Bengals or Seahawks if they’re available. Also in a 10 team league you usually don’t need to roster two QBs imo.

Thanks. It is a 12 team redraft league and chances are I can grab someone for my QBs bye week. And yes it is/was for Seattle. Got them and will bench Ravens for tomorrow and play Seattle instead.

I wouldn't worry about keeping a backup QB on your roster until closer to week 14 when he would be needed. Drop Tua this week, drop Seattle next week for a possible valuable player on waivers.

Depends on your scoring. How many points does a defense actually put up in your scoring system? Can they go significantly negative? So really, what is the risk of playing the Ravens?

Assuming there is a risk of a big negative then I likely drop the QB and play a streamer (if there is a quality one available). But that also depends on who you would be trotting out there as the streamer.

Yeah it can go negative. I made the decision and grabbed Seattle and dropped Tua. I don't think anyone will grab Tua and I have 14 weeks using this open spot until I need another QB (assuming Murray stays on his feet). If they do there are always QBs in a 1 team redraft standard league.
