Just saw this interesting tidbit on NFL.com:
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald told CSNPhilly.com on Friday that the Philadelphia Eagles offered the Cardinals a first- and a third-round draft choice for him in 2008.
The story doesn't say what kept the trade from happening, and does not include a comment from anyone in the Eagles' organization.

Later that year he caught 5 balls for 65 yards and 2 TDs in Week 13 at Philadelphia. They also played in the NFC Championship game, where we all know the Cardinals won. Larry Fitzgerald had 9 catches for 152 yards and 3 TDs at home.
He hadn't played against them in years until last year, where he went off for 7 catches for 146 yards and 2 TDs at Philadelphia.
For those of you that aren't good at numbers, that's 3 multiple TD games in a row against Philadelphia since the trade didn't go through. Something tells me that maybe Fitzgerald felt that the Eagles undervalued him in the contract talks somehow and he's made it a point to stick it to them ever since.
