Andy Reid always drafts psychos that eventually get suspended.
Eagles always go to the playoffs under Nick Sirianni.

Lampkin is awesome, just small. He's an outstanding run blocker, who obviously struggles more in pass blocking. He's basically another Aaron Brewer, and I was SHOCKED he was cut.
I think that weight is low though. He's 290-something.

I think the fact that you are asking, after all the cut downs and signings that have been completed and the season now a week away, tells us a lot.
Either teams think he’s washed, he’s asking for crazy money/years, or he has a short list he’s willing to wait it out for and the Eagles aren’t on it (by his choice, or ours.)

Eagles to wear Kelly Green vs Giants, Cowboys and Connie’s this year. Weeks 8 and 12 plus the road game vs Dallas first time they’ve worn them on road since they brought back

I think there is some sort of technical issue at play where we can sign him after the first game and don't guarantee his salary?
It sure seems like he is holding out that we will sign him or reach out before he even TRIES to sign with another team
Even if he is washed washed, I have not seen any indication of any team even trying to find that out.
But at the same time you are probably onto something

I have good news & bad news for Eagles nation. First, the good news is that I have you returning to the Super Bowl this year. The bad news is that the team that WILL ACTUALLY WIN the Super Bowl is the same team that you'll be facing Week 17. That's right, the Buffalo Bills are going to beat you guys in Week 17 AND in the Super Bowl. It's not an easy schedule for you guys by a longshot, now when you have to go up to Buffalo in late December. There'll probably by at least six inches of snow by then. And remember, Josh Allen never loses in Buffalo in December.

Most annoyed would be the Raiders. If we ever got the chance to avenge that SB loss, like we did for NE and KC, and didn't do it, it would be the worst.

Micah traded to GB for two first and DT kenny Clark. Gets 4yrs 188m highest non paid QB. That’s a lot for a guy who goes MIA when it matters. Desperation move by GB here

I meant the contract GB gave him and 2 1st yeah not worth it for a guy who goes MIA and seems to care about a podcast more then football. It’s a bad return but like I said months ago, Dal wasn’t the only team concerned with Micah’s commitment to football.
People say this but NFL GMs wont agree. That salary is huge and limits options pretty significantly. Good deal for Dallas I think in the long run, but won't help them this year

It was win-win, either way for us. If they extended him at that number it handcuffed their roster building. And trading him gets him out of our division and makes their defense weaker.

From what I heard Dallas didn’t believe he was fully committed to football and him using his podcast to call out his coaches teammates and ownership constantly didn’t sit well with the org. As much as I love to Blame Dal and laugh, Jerry Jones did the smart thing here by not resigning a player they weren’t sure could fully commit to. Yes the Prescott contract is detrimental to them. However You then had well respected looker room talent in Lawerence who signed with Sea this off-season essentially say the same and tweeted it to him. It was among the lines of “maybe if you were more worried about what we were doing on the field instead of focusing on Twitter all day, maybe I’d have stayed in Dal.” DLaw called out Micah’s work ethic and DLaw is a pretty respected player in that locker room. So as much as people want to blame Dal and laugh here, no one wants to address the fat elephant in the room. That being is Micah Parsons committed to Football and winning games or is he more worried about likes and follows on social media all while throwing teammates and coaches under the bus and not taking accountability of his faults too.
I remember watching Eagles vs Dal with my friends and a few with my cousins. My one cousin a big PSU guy asked quite a few times “is Micah playing or is he hurt, I haven’t heard his name all game.” The reason? Lane kept him in his back pocket. Then you watched the replays and it didn’t even look like Micah was trying. I loved Eagles vs Giants when Runyan would line up vs Strahan. You knew they’d put 110% into every snap for 60 mins. It was a dog fight and each had their turns one upping the other. By the end of a game those two looked like they went to war and shook hands. Mutal respect between two future HoF warriors.
I just don’t see that drive in Parsons. Lane looks like he barely broke out a sweat most of those games and parsons looks gassed barely having put effort.
Look no one denies Micah parsons talent or athletic ability. It’s the commitment and work ethic and not holding himself accountable at the end of the day. It’s simular to Joel Embiid without the injuries. Talent is there but you need to be willing to put the work in. Gone are the days of athletic ability trumping all. Almost everyone is just as skilled today and you gotta put that work in. Culture fit wise Parsons would’ve been a horrible addition. The guys in that locker room put in their work and some even extra.

That’s why it’s an overpay. Gun to my head ask who I want in their prime I’m picking Mack. That dude could play and no one questioned if he wanted to be there. GB paid for the talent potential not what the results have been so far. Especially in big games. I could see this being a bad move in GB imho. Especially if Micah keeps having nagging injuries

We just beat Patty Mahomes on a 3peat try and the Packers were just one of the 4 teams the Eagles swept last year.
And Micah doesn’t defend the run dealt at all.
Glad to get him out of the division and if we have to play the Packers twice next year Lane Johnson says hi twice.
