Agreed. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that our subscribers use the service in a ton of different ways. Some want every word of every article. Others want nothing more than the cheatsheets. Others pay as a way of keeping these boards alive. Others for just the contests. Lots with a mix of everything. Doesn't really matter as we need to be able to provide all of those groups what they want.
Why people use a particular part of the subscription is not relevant to me. Our job is simply to give them what they want.

I'm a subscriber. I want offensive line depth charts. If that is impossible, perhaps snap count data. If that is impossible perhaps the dudes on the Audible can stop skipping my questions each week. If that is impossible, perhaps improve the Draft Dominator so it's customizable for team defensive scoring (Team DEF is a commonly used weekly starting roster spot for American Football Fantasy players.) If you aren't going to fix the customizable scoring, please take Dominator out of the software's name or put it in quotes or put an asterisk in there. C'mon man.
If you are confused about where I think FBG is going wrong, you can just ask for more of my opinion either here or in PMs. Do you honestly feel like you've given us your best this season? To be blunt, I don't think that you're the leader that you once were. At least have the decency to just tell us your passion has faded or whatever, so we can stop holding out hope that FBG gets back on top. Give us a real projection of when we can cut bait on FBG and move on. (Seriously, I'm begging for offensive line depth charts in 2011. That's really what it's come to. I mean WTF yaknow?) Those of us who respected you before will still respect you for your honesty and as always for your calming influence around here. I doubt enough people are going to read this far into this thread to cut into your bottom line, so just be real about why you've seemingly fallen off.
One more thing just to be clear, my disgust is not based on an innocent rankings oversight. I have no issues with making mistakes, especially ones that you admit to and correct. My issue is with the oversight of simple mistakes that are not acknowledged and the cumulative effect that they are having on the overall quality of FBG. The lack of certain content and at least incremental improvements in the current content are the true mistakes. Are my requests unreasonable for a serious fantasy football content provider?

Whining about being skipped on The Audible?
Come on man
These are the last couple of questions I see you asked in the SP thread.

To all the hosts... what are you competitive backgrounds? A brief history of your sports careers as well as any other competitive endeavors you may have excelled in whether it's cards, video games, figure skating, motorboating, debates, whatever.

What areas would you like to see FBG improve in? Do you have a stat wish list of things you'd like to see tracked?
No offense, but they have a limited time on what the can air, and what their sponsors are paying for.I want their opinions and analysis on football.
Well that's cool and I appreciate the offer... but no.
In regards to those 2 particular questions I think that they are very valid questions and not that time consuming especially considering the redundancy of many of the questions asked and answered on the show. If my questions are not appropriate I apologize, but it was never made clear to me and those are not my only questions that were ignored. Regardless, my questions being skipped are totally not the problem with the direction of FBG. I will try to explain myself a little better for you sir.
I also want their opinions and analysis on football, but I would really like to know what competitive backgrounds they come from and in some ways it matters a lot to me. I like the guys on the audible very much, don't get me wrong. I have learned so much from Bloom and Bramel and I'm always going to be grateful to them for that whether they know it or not. I would like to better understand them as well as Cecil and Waldman. I'm at a point where it's not so much about what they say, but understanding how they think so I can take what they say and interpret it more effectively for myself. I have opinions of them already, based on listening for years. I wonder what they've been through as competitors though and if they will make mistakes analyzing things from the standpoint of someone who hasn't been through intense competition or not. There is more to this, but that's the fundamental reason that I'm asking a question like that to guys that I foresee listening to for years to come. I'm a different type of cat. I spend a sick amount of time studying the NBA and NFL and I'm always looking for certain qualities in others so I can properly leech their knowledge or avoid it. So for instance, I may want to read the whole RSP every year, cover to cover. It's a big undertaking and I don't truly know if it will be worth it or not. Understanding the author in that case can help me tremendously.
I'm still forming many of my ideas about certain things surrounding gambling on professional sports and it's a learning process for me. I have crossed certain barriers already and I feel it's best for me to understand analysts from a certain standpoint so I can read into what it means when they see something in someone. I am not just analyzing the information that I come across, but also how that information was analyzed before it got to me. The facts will remain the facts, but the marginal decisions will determine edges and I am OK with digging deeply to understand how informed people are making their marginal decisions and hopefully build on that for myself. Doing so just gets a little abstract and even asking the right questions can be challenging at times. Hope that helps you understand where I'm coming from a little better.
