But when the last round rolls around you kinda need to have an idea who the best one left might be right? That's what this thread is about, figuring out which of the tail end kickers are actually worth drafting at the end. Sorry if I misconstrued your poinit.

I definitely agree, but if you must know I have now gotten Shayne Graham in the 16th round of my main league two years in a row.

So you just randomly take one of whatever kickers are left? You don't see any reason to maybe do a little consideration of which ones you'd rather have at that point? I'm confused.

Agreed. As I already mentioned in this thread, I have gotten Kasay in two of my drafts so far and Akers in another. I should be finishing a draft this week and I will update the group on who I get there. Don't target anyone. Just take the best of who is there.

So you just randomly take one of whatever kickers are left? You don't see any reason to maybe do a little consideration of which ones you'd rather have at that point? I'm confused.

I use DD for my drafts. When the last round comes up, I open the kicker window and see who is left. I know which kickers are worth it and make a decision at that point. I target no one.

I'm thinking if you're able to get Graham in the 16th round this thread probably doesn't apply to you.

No offense, but it sounds like you play in a league with a bunch of novices. Having that many kickers gone is crazy! One of my leagues is a guppy league and they go crazy taking kickers before round 10. Most have their kicker spot filled by round 12. I still waited and was able to get Kasay.

They are, in the redrafts, I refuse to draft until the last round a kicker. There will be a seventh our eighth round rush on kickers, and my experience is unless I begin the rush, my kicker is a push from his projection until the last round.

I never take a kicker until the end of the draft. We just drafted and the first kicker went in round 4. I waited until round 13 (out of 14) and still ended up with Rackers. There always seems to be someone good left.

That may be, although one of the leagues is a 16 team league with 20 roster spots and very limited in season moves - so pretty much everyone tries to grab 2 kickers to get through the long haul of the season. But whatever the reason, that's the reality of the leagues I'm in, so I have to deal with it, and knowing who among the leftovers is more likely to outperform the rest is very useful for me.

That's a lot of teams. I can see why there is a run on kickers.

If you are down to the last third of kickers, go with Hanson from Detroit. He'll out perform his ADP and the Lions may stall near the endzone this year. This will give Hanson many opportunities, and he is decent!
