For those who have drafted Michael Vick (1 Viewer)

*** I POSTED THIS IN ANOTHER THREAD. I DON'T BELIEVE YOU NEED TO HAVE A BACKUP OPTION AS LONG AS YOU GET BOTH PLUMMER AND VICK AND ALTERNATE THEM***Depending on the scoring system, a combo of Vick and Plummer (both can be had in the middle rounds) could be outstanding this year. The main thing w/ Vick, IMO, is avoiding the road games against top 10 D's (Car, TB, etc). If you do a platoon w/ Vick and Plummer, here's what you're looking at:Plummer (1) - @StLPlummer (2) - KCVick (3) - @NOVick (4) - ArizPlummer (5) - Balt (Vick on bye, not a very good matchup, but it is a home game)Plummer (6) - OakPlummer (7) - @CleVick (8) - @Cincy (probably a shootout)Vick (9) - @DetVick (10) - ClePlummer (11) -SD (Chargers stifling against the run, but not the pass and it's in Denver)Vick (12) - NOPlummer (13) - Sea (tough "D" but its a home game)Vick (14) - TB (tough "D" but threw for 300 and 2 TD's last yr and it's on the carpetPlummer (15) - @ArizPlummer (16) - Cincy (probably a shootout)The fact that the league I'm in only awards 3 pts for a passing TD makes Vick inherently more valuable; however, depending on the scoring system, the Vick/Plummer combo could be solid given the fact that BOTH can be had in the 7th-10th rounds of most drafts, and as a tandem should perform as a Top 5 QB. This is simply a good way to get great production out of the QB position w/ minimal investment
Really is a good combo. Best thing is, other than Cle/Det and possibly Bal depending on McNair, each one of those matchups is against an offense that can and will score points. None of those games will be run the clock out QB killers.
i got vik and plummer late. huge steals imo. week 5 vs balt isnt good. but if you can get leftwich as your 3rd qb you not only get a qb with great potential who could prove to be a #1 but you also get lefty at home in week 5 vs the PAPER AIRPLANES! i am thinking of doing this in round 14 or 15 of draft...

Vick on the 7th, Plummer on the 9th. Planning alternating (above looks good), but don't discard Vick being top 5 this year.

12 teams, 28 rounds (we do IDP)

I got Vick in the 12th round and followed it up with Trent Green in the 13th....then I got Kitna in the 18th. I'm not sure why these guys fell so far, but I won't complain!!! For other QBs, Manning went with the 4th overall pick, Palmer went in the 2nd round, Hass in the 4th, McNabb in the 5th, Eli in the 5th, Brady in the 4th, Bulger in the 7th, Delhomme in the 5th, Culpepper in the 6th and Warner in the 8th. Strange draft for QBs!!
