For those worried about Reggie Brown (1 Viewer)

We got him in WCOFF, so his performance worried me. Here's a PPG breakdown from last year (PPR format). Out of the 15 games he played, he scored under 6 points in 4 of them(2 McNabb/2 Garcia)....yet he still ended up as the WR 28 in WCOFF scoring.

Obviously not apples to applies, but I'm not as worried now as I was yesterday.

He's always had an issue with drops. Though he *should* put up more total points, I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis was the more consistent week-to-week performer this year.

Yeah I had him last year as well and he had quite a # of games like this so Im not too worried. Plus McNabb started off slow and they played a top notch defense. The thing I AM worried about is Curtis seems to be McNabbs preferred target already.

Go back and look at which of those games Donte Stallworth played in and which ones he didn't. I was a Brown owner last year and seem to remember that most games Stallworth was in, Brown was useless as a fantasy player because McNabb loved him (Stallworth). Which was very frustrating because Brown performed great (in both NFL and FF terms) when he WAS targeted.

If McNabb does the same thing with Curtis, Brown owners could be in for a long season since Curtis doesn't have the injury history Stallworth had.

I'd be much more concerned about the way McNabb looked rather than Brown. He did not look that good yesterday. Granted, Green Bay is a very good defense and McNabb should do much better against Washington next week.

GB was killing the Eagles offensive line in that game. McNabb was being force to move almost every passing attempt. I was surprised the Eagles didn't try more screens and draws to try and slow down the GB rush.

From watching snippets of the Green Bay game, the main observation I came away with is that the Packer's D is very underrated.

they attempted a couple of screens... Westy had a serious cases of the drops
