Forgetting Sarah Marshall (1 Viewer)

Finally saw this today. Absolutely hilarious movie. I laughed pretty much from start to finish. I was a fan of "That 70s Show" but I don't remember Mila ever looking this hot. She was off the charts hot and blew Kristen Bell away - and I'm a huge Kristen Bell fan.

As far as where I'd rank it among the Apatow movies, I'd probably go:

Knocked Up

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

40 Year Old Virgin

Superbad

Just saw this recently as well. Pretty funny stuff.

####### hell though as Mila Kunis grown up nicely since 70's show, she was ####### banging. Kristen Bell was super cute as well. I was stiff for a lot of that movie.

I finally got around to watching this last night and laughed my ### off. Hilarious. I really don't get how so many in this thread are so down on it. Expectations too high?

And yes, Mila Kunis had huge appeal in this movie. The combination of the way she spoke, carried herself, looked, and acted reminded me a lot of this chick I knew.

"C'mon Pete, I can see your ###### from here!"

:lmao:

This movie is so underrated... Aldous Snow kills me.

"How you served five years under her, I'll never know. You deserve a medal or a holiday or something...."

"You were only here a week..."

"I know, but that week was like a date with..... I don't want to say Hitler but certainly, Goebbels....."

Saw it last night. Was very surprised at how mediocre it was. Some very funny moments, but rather sparse.

Was looking forward to it, as well.

it was good, not great. some very funny moments, but too damn predictable. every one of these movies follows the same pattern.

never though the "That 70's Show" chick was hot until this movie. WOW. SOOOOOOOOOOO hot in this movie. Blonde was hot too. Funny movie too.

Watched this with some friends again last night and we all howled throughout. Definitely one of the best comedies of the last decade.

without make up she is almost hideoushttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2247570/Mila-Kunis-Ashton-Kutcher-completely-sync-baggy-tracksuits-dog-walk.html

I know I'll be firmly in the minority here, but I'd rather make teh juice with Kristin Bell than Mila Kunis.

KB is so freakin sexy.

FSM is a movie that if I'm flipping channels and it's on, I'm stopping every time. One of my favorites.

If you haven't seen the extended version, the deleted yoga scene is awesome.

"What's up? My legs, that's what!"

"I'm doing a handstand mothah ####a!"

Pretty decent movie but if I don't see it again I'll live.

The biggest problem is that I can't stand the main character. Just a mopey sad-sack that made really stupid decisions and yet somehow nailed both Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis.

I'm still not sure how good I think this movie is. I think it's enjoyable to watch and has great eye candy, but not terribly funny either. My enjoyment of it might largely be due to the surprise that it didn't completely suck, as I'd expected.Segel was far more mopey and dumb than funny. The friend his wife were pretty funny. The chicks were hot, but not funny. Russell Brand had some funny moments, but is every bit annoying as he is funny. Jonah Hill was funny in spots. The Dracula musical was pretty good.As far as as comparing it to other Apatow movies, we can add some that are much better (Anchorman, Talledega Nights, The Cable Guy, Bridesmaids) and some other that are at least on par (Funny People, Pineapple Express). There are some that even found Step Brothers and **** and Jane to be funny (not me).If someone called Sarah Marshall Apatow's 10th best movie, I wouldn't argue against them.Solid move, but I don't really think it was great either.

To me, a great comedy has a lot of great one-liners that are worth quoting, and this one has tons:

"If God was a city planner, would he put a playground next to a sewage system."

"Take my eyes, but not the shirt!"

"God put our mouths on our head for a reason. No!"

"You have Christ between your thighs... only with a shorter beard."

And many others.

"Excuse me, Mrs. Have you seen a shoe? It's like this one's fellow... it's sort of the exact opposite in fact of that - not an evil version but just, you know, a shoe like this... but for the other foot."

These are great one liners?FSM was o.k...not too bad but nothing special other than Mila Kunis' hotness.

FSM is one of those movies that I will watch over and over again and enjoy it every time. Between the eye candy of Kunis and Bell and the delivery of Russell Brand (why in the world did it take three pages until his genious was brought up), I can't get enough.

I just went from six to midnight.

Yeah well, I ####ed the housekeeper the other day.
That was pretty funny.I was overly critical of this movie earlier. You guys are reminding me that Brand was funnier than I remember.

Especially, his

Absolutely. Sure, looking at them on your computer screen won't automatically make them funny in a vacuum, but in the movie, they are hysterical.

Gets better with age.

Kristen Bell in a bikini and in general is hot. Her husband is lucky.

Mila Kunis is a hottie, bikini as well.

Kristen Wiig had a great short part. If they would have sexed her up she would have been more hot too.

And, the 4th of July is involved so it could be a movie for this weekend.

Wiig's character didn't even make the cut of the theatrical release.
