Foster and Tate owners (1 Viewer)

Snippet from an interview with the Texans QB coach Greg Knapp, with implications on Foster:

On Leinart’s strengths as a passer: “He’s very good at understanding the importance of, OK, if the first read’s not there, checking it down to the backs. He understands the positive things that can happen with a good play fake, stuff he did at ‘SC, we do here, and he’s really very good at ball-handling from that standpoint. He’s played a lot of high level competition games at USC and had a lot of pressure on him and understands that you team is driven by your quarterback play. I’m very excited for him because I think he’ll rise to the occasion.”
With his being good at checking down being the first thing that jumps to the coach's mind on Leinart's strengths, would have to think Foster is going to have as much involvement in the passing game as in the past, and possibly more. Not sure if that's a great thing for Andre Johnson though.
