I'm in a very interesting league, and I just wanted to see who you guys thought was worthy of this tag in a 12 team league (2qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1 flex, 1TE, 1K, 1DST starting). This is the first year we are doing this, so everyone is up for grabs.
Rules: Player must be drafted in the 4th round or later (pick 37 and beyond). To franchise the player, you must declare him a franchise player before the season begins. Once franchised, he is yours forever at the expense of the given round draft pick you take him at. Once franchised, the player cannot be traded or dropped from a team until the end of a season.
I have pick 5, so I have 44th overall pick for my first shot at a guy to keep forever. Obviously, the later the guy is drafted, the more value out of keeping him 'forever'. I want to know who you guys think is worthy of this franchise tag and why.
