He got the ball plenty on the first few drives but didnt do anything with his carries. What I find strange is they arent calling any screen passes for him something they did a ton of last year. Clearly the Offensive Coordinator isnt doing a good job. What am I doing? I'm panicking. They're not giving him the ball, and are content to air the ball out 40+ times a game.
mmm yeah i dont think so. Hes still a better RB option then a ton of RBs out there. It may be too little too late, but benching him for ANYONE else is probably a good idea.
Maybe WW rbs sure.. But I think I will be starting LenDale White over him from here on out. Gore has done very little all year.mmm yeah i dont think so. Hes still a better RB option then a ton of RBs out there. It may be too little too late, but benching him for ANYONE else is probably a good idea.
The 49ers are horrible. I'd trade Gore for anything right now.He got the ball plenty on the first few drives but didnt do anything with his carries. let's just say I traded steve smith straight up for him in a PPR league and I'm regretting THAT!!! Carr >> Smith/Dilfer.The 49ers are horrible. The dsappearance of Gore from the passing game completely is the biggest problem IMO. Once SF fell way behind, Michael Robinson saw way too much time as the "3rd down back". Gore's supposed to be a complete back. He should at least stay in those situations. As has been said, throw him some screens.
I'm hoping against hope that both Nolan & Turner get fired simultaneously & Turner is immediately snapped up by the 49er's to resume offensive play calling duties.shadyridr said:This 49ers offense looks atrocious. Are Gore owners looking for RB help? Sitting tight? Is he a buy low?
Hobbled or healthy, there's not much hope for Gore until Nolan & his OC pull their collective heads out of their collective butts & script up some real offensive game plans. Tough for Gore to do anything positive with the pathetic play calling that's been going on in 49er land so far this year.Gore is hobbled. He'll recover. If you are in a dynasty league, you can't ignore Gore. He probably won't recover much this year. Next year he'll resume his stud RB abilities. The SF offense is to ####ed up this year to maintain much hope in Gore.
I agree. It's funny. Lendale White looked trim today, and Frank Gore is starting to look like how Lendale did when he put on his weight.top dog said:Maybe WW rbs sure.. like what? I've got a Gore owner who has openly said he wants to trade him.littletank said:The 49ers are horrible. Wow someone who admits to taking Gore at 1.03.I've heard of you people, just never actually met one....wishing I'd taken LJ at 1.3
I'm sleeping like a baby. I wake up in the middle of the night, start crying, go back to sleep, wake up again, cry some more.Trying a few trades but in this particularly league I haven't found anything worth trading for so...hoping for a miracle.shadyridr said:This 49ers offense looks atrocious. Turner is not getting fired, that team is very good right now, he righted that ship. They are better than any NFC team and they are 3rd best at the most in AFC. I know the Cowboys are good, but they are not as good as chargers right now!I'm hoping against hope that both Nolan & Turner get fired simultaneously & Turner is immediately snapped up by the 49er's to resume offensive play calling duties.shadyridr said:This 49ers offense looks atrocious. That is the exact problem, there is a ton of guys to trade for that are doing better than Gore, and you could get them. But, the problem is that you either have him in Dynasty and know what he has done in the past, or you spent a top 5 pick to get him in redraft and now you are supposed to put the ego aside and take someone who is not as big a household name (White and Mason) for him. Very tough to do, but you would be reaping benefits if you would have made that trade. That is just one example, but I am sure I could come up with a bunch of scenarios where you should trade Gore, but there is always that voice in the back of your head saying, "He is going to turn it around, he is going to be involved in passing game, etc), well unless Nolan takes the OC to the back of the woodshed this week, that is not going to happenI'm sleeping like a baby. I offer BJ / Ward / 2008 1st for Gore / Robinson and was shot down before the games started... needless to say I won't be offering that package again.Last week I unloaded him for Brandon Jacobs but after this week that may be asking too much.
Gore = NEEDS MORE DANG CARRIES49ers 2-0 when he gets 18+ carries, 0-5 when he don't......GIVE HIM THE DAMN BALL!!!!I want to call Nolan every name in the book, seriously.![]()

I tried it and the Gore owner said no way - wanted Harrison for Stallworth as part of the deal. If Gore's ankle turns out to be bad, though, then all bets are off.How would you frustrated Gore owners feel about a Shaun Alexander for Gore offer?ETA: redraft
i'd be pretty "meh" about it. Alexander has shown a little more than Gore in terms of production, but not in terms of talent. How would you frustrated Gore owners feel about a Shaun Alexander for Gore offer?ETA: redraft
