espn catches alot of grief (and deservedly so, especially after last year's debacle), but they do have free live stats and live standings updating.

for yahoo, the $10 is certainly worth it, though.

If you use Mozilla Firefox, there are browser scripts that can be installed that basically give you stats for all players in your lineup for that day...won't update your season totals, but for a quick update on how your players are doing, it's great...and free.http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/5143

Did you install greasemonkey first? You need to go to the very first link which doesn't have a description. That is the application and the other links actually bring you to the location where you will install the scripts.
