Everyone was down on Foster but he looked great last week running the ball. Car sould get more redzone oppurtunities with S Smith back so maybe a few td's are in store. Barlow could have hit pa dirt 3 times last week if th e ref's didn't blow a few calls in the NYJ game. He looks better every game running but cant really be counted on to get more then 70 yds. He is however NYJ first option in the redzone and has a better chance of scoring on any given week.

Yes I own both of these players and can't decide who to start

Here's an idea...why not take DeShaun, Barlow, and a few other RB in the 15-30 range and talk about them a bit, offer some of your views, and then maybe ask for a top3-5 from that group.

I don't think DeShaun or barlow are going to carry you to the Cahmpionship if they are RB3 on your roster...they are bye week fillers so why worry about it?

And you know this is going to get moved to where Kupcho mentioned so why put it up in here?

Good luck this weekend.

Since you asked about which back will be better through the end of the season it belongs in this thread but if you want info on who to start this week you need to be in the Assistant Coaches Forum.

That being said I believe that Foster will be the better fantasy RB through the end of the season primarily due to opportunity. Foster is in a two way RBBC with D Williams and assuming Foster stays healthy (which is a concern for every RB not just a previously injury prone RB like Foster or Fred Taylor) I think that worst case is that he'll split carries and best case is he takes the majority of carries.

Barlow is considered the starting RB for NYJ but he hasn't impressed or proved himself yet and the competition is coming from a number of guys (Leon Washington, Cedrick Houston, Derrick Blaylock and a very small chance of Curtis Martin returning later in the year). Barlow has also never proven to be a consistently good RB and this observation goes back to when he was competing with an old Garrison Hearst in SF and Barlow just wasn't as good or consistent. So basically, I don't think this guy is a solid talent or a winner and I'd would avoid having him on my team. Lately the news from the head coach is saying that Leon Washington will be getting more looks this week with the possibility of an expanded role in the next weeks so it looks like this is an audition for Washington to see if he can beat out Barlow for the starting RB job at NYJ.

I haven't looked at Strength of Schedule to see which RB has the easier opponents. Thought I'd leave something for you or somebody else who needs a NYJ RB.
