Futures market for superbowl tix (1 Viewer)

For those of us who believe that we know more than the common man about what will happen in the NFL, check out yoonew.com.

It's a futures market for superbowl tix. You can "invest" in superbowl tickets based on your predictions about who will make it to the big game.

The value of those futures contracts fluctuates with the teams you have locked in on the contract. It looks like a great way to either 1) get cheap SB tix if you are right, or 2) profit by trading contracts based on a teams ups and downs throughout the season.

I'm fascinated by this concept and just wanted to share.

There's another site that does this it called TicketReserve.comIn 2004 I bought 4 Philadelphia Eagles Superbowl certificates for $210 ($50/each + $10 transaction fee). I sold them prior to the NFC Champsionship Game for $3000.

Believe it or not, I'm not affiliated with the site in any way. I thought it was genius and that maybe other NFL fans would be interested. If not, then nevermind.

Happy Holidays

Nice work. Good to hear from someone with firsthand experience with this type of thing. I'm a newbie to it, but I'm on SD or JAX to shock the world and advance. It's a longshot, but the price was right.

Sites legit I've used it myself. I like it better than ticket reserve though since it seems to have better liquidity and just looks way cooler. And I don't totally get how ticket reserve works
