Game Thread PL1 - NY Giants V Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

Eli Manning will show his true colors

when the pressure is at a fever pitch.

Giants 3

Eagles 17
 TRIVIA: Which of the QBs in this game was the #1 overall pick?

Top Secret Giants Game Plan

- Run Tiki left

- Run Tiki right

- Run Tiki up the middle

- Make sure Eli doesn't lose the game for us -- pass only when absolutely necessary

Someone on the Eagles MB noted that they have switched referee crews for this game. Joe's buddy Ed Hochuli was supposed to have his crew run the game. Instead, they have switched to Pete Morelli's crew.

Morelli was the ref involved in the Polamalu interception overturn last year.

His crew also calls the fewest penalties in the league:

I would be so much more pumped for this game if I didn't have to see Tom Coughlin. I'm going to pretend that every time they put the camera on Coughlin it's actually John Fox.

Is that ok with everyone?

yummy

hate the matchup. Garcia has won over the philly fans, should be a great home game.

So - anyone else reminded of the Eagles/Cowboys MNF debacle that ended on a botched FG by the Seattle / Dallas game last night?

I spent last night barhopping in philly. I learned Garthia is god, and that McNabb should be crucified. really. Good times.

The Giants are capable of beating anyone in the league. Especially themselves. Everyone seems to think the Eagles will win this one. That makes me think they won't/

Giants 21-16

This game should be a good one. I hope both teams put up a good performance. I mean I've already seen two blowouts....The colts and the Patriots.

As long as your hands are out of your pants.

Eagles declared RB Ryan Moats, DT LaJuan Ramsey, CB Will James, G Max Jean-Gilles, T Winston Justice, T Pat McCoy, and LB Dedrick Roper inactive for Sunday's Wild Card Game.

Jeremy Shockey is active against Philadelphia, as expected.

Tim Hasselbeck is the third quarterback. WR Michael Jennings, FB Robert Douglas, CB Frank Walker, LB Gerris Wilkinson, DT Titus Adams, WR Darius Watts, and OL Steve Edwards are the Giants' inactives. Nickel corner Kevin Dockery will play despite being listed as questionable.

:whoosh:

I think this will be a close one. Divisional rivals, a talented Giants team that needs to play up to its level versus an overachieving Eagles team that is playing great D lately.

NICE catch by Plax (for the 2nd time on the drive). Damn he could be something if he could get his head on straight.
