Game Thread W1 - Tennessee at Jacksonville (1 Viewer)

Hope the Jags bounce back well from that. They were a foot away from really putting their foot on the Titans' throats.
Jags should have been up 17-0 but couldn't punch it in from the goalline. Britt should have been laid out on his TD catch and run.
Couple nice throws from McCown here. Feels like they'll need to open it up at some point, but he's looked good with what he's been asked to do so far.It feels like this drive could determine the game.

The Titans need to work out some serious issues on D. The Jaguars are doing absolutely nothing special and taking advantage of them for 4 quarters with simple fundamentals.

I really thought that the Titans would have a pretty good looking offense this season. I'm thinking the Johnson hold out really set them back a few weeks, but in all fairness the Titan's O-line looks god awful.

This game does not bode well for Chris Johnson's season. The Titans look like crap in every facet of the game and playing from behind means CJ will be doing a lot of pass blocking.

I took CJ first in my draft and this sucks bigtime!
I toyed with trading him, but decided against it. I am not pleased with today, but it is too soon to start freaking out. Hopefully the passing game can get going and the coaching staff can teach the OL how to block.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Titans play much better in the coming weeks. The offense seemed to click more on that drive. Hasselbeck looking much better.

After the lockout, new coach, new QB, and RB holdout, 3 quarters of a funk would make sense. They'll play much better at some point this season. Hell, they'll probably even win this game..

Mike Thomas makes a 22 yard catch on 3rd & 8 to get the Jags out of punting from deep in their end.

Titans have 1:45 to get into field goal range, starting from inside their 5 yard line. No timeouts left.

I was busy today and...Who covered him most of the time?Statistically it looks like they did well. I was checking the stats a bit during the game and IIRC he was like 6 catches for 30 yards or somesuch. For FF PPR maybe that's good but for NFL that's keeping him in line some. It doesn't seem like the Titans secondary did bad at all today. When I'd check stats, MJD was a beast and that seemed like the story.

12 total carries for Titans RBs in this one.
Why did CJ stink?Jags added LBs and/or did some shifting? Credit due?6 catches seems like finding a way to get it in his hands but they're for few yards so I figure the Jags were all over those.Curious about OL play today if ya got any thoughts.
