Game Thread W10 - Atlanta vs. Baltimore (1 Viewer)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"that will cost them a timeout since he is not getting up!!!!"

They were calling on either way lol

"That'll cost them a timeout now for not getting up"

Right, they were probably gonna try to hurry up and spike it with 9 seconds left after a 30 yard pass

As a Steeler fan... that was awesome!

Well... despite the the horrendous-ness of the last 6 minutes until the final awesomeness set in.

LMAO @ Theisman......

Joey T "Penalty....That's a run off!!"

Millen No, Joe, it's not, the clock has to be running

Announcer Guy Yes, you see, Atlanta took a time out, the clock wasn't running Joe.

Millen Yeah Joe, The clock has to be running for a run off

Announcer Guy The clock wasn't running Joe, no run off.

Left Unsaid Don't you know the rules #######

:lmao:

Big win for the Falcons. I still don't have any idea why Smith didn't go for two when it wsa 19-7. There was 11 minutes left and Baltimore hadn't moved the ball much all night. Was he really that worried about the Ravens gettin a TD and 2 FGs to win if we didn't convert the 2pt try? Someone explain to me because I'm still pissed and we won. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems idiotic to me.

Very entertaining game. Matt Ryan had a really impressive game. He has improved so much in the last year or so. I can't see the Falcons losing a game at home this season. The #1 seed is a very real possibility for them.

I thought the same thing. Granted, I am an advocate of not going for 2 until you absolutely have to, but in that situation, like you said, the odds of the Ravens scoring three times with two FGs and a TD to beat you 20-19 if you missed the 2-pointer were not likely. Given the time left, two touchdowns were much more likely, so going for 2 to go up 21-7 was the smart move. I couldn't believe they didn't do it. And it almost came back to bite them.
