Game Thread W10 - Baltimore V Seattle (1 Viewer)

They weren't down by so much that they had to ignore the running game like they did. They still have 7 minutes and could be picking up yards while the defense is slacking off to stop the big play. Freakin Cameron!
They were down by less than 2 scores to start the 2nd half and when they got the ball their first 8 or so plays were passes. There was way too much time left to say that being down is what caused them to abandon the run.

Ya know, as ridiculous as the NFL has gotten with personal foul calls, that is a good one, and maybe enough calls will get some safeties to actually go in and break up the catch by going for the ball instead of going for the kill shot.

Did Ed Reed not hit him because of the new flags and fines?

Looked like he could have really lit him up.

Lynch has quietly turned into a very solid RB2 - averaging over 16 PPG in the last 5 he has played. Nobody in the NFL dominates his teams carries like Lynch does.

That could have been a lot worse had it not been for a lot of dumb Seattle penalties -- and a lot of bogus ones, too.

Ratbirds just can't handle prosperity, it seems. If this is one of the games that costs them home field in the playoffs and they wind up having to go to Heinz again, they are gonna see this as a season of missed opportunity.

Just want to make sure I have this right...Ray Rice has 5 carries, Flacco has 44 pass attempts, and Boldin has 2 catches...thanks.
Yes. My fault. First time in my entire life, even useless work football pools included, that I have EVER bet against Seattle. Put $50 against my boys (with Boldin in over Nicks after leaving Matthews in as flex to boot) because Baltimore was ONLY a 7 point favorite. I thought it would be an UGLY, UGLY, UGLY home loss. Best $50 I ever spent despite the worsening of the draft pick.

Seattle is #2 in yards/carry allowed at 3.4 so that might have affected their game planning.Of course at this point the score is going to dictate going pass heavy.
Ravens didn't really run enough to know how well they could do it. They just assumed they couldn't. They don't pass that well. THAT'S for sure.
