Game Thread W10 - Denver V Oakland (1 Viewer)

I'm impressed by Plummer already. He could give Walters a run for his money in terrible performance.

The Raiders manage to be completely ineffective on the goal-line multiple times, but a DEN penalty gives them another shot. Jordan scores. Wow I think is the fastest he's scored all year.

This the week i really need denvers D to play well ( defenvise TD at least ) and walker to produce again ( had coles get me that stellar 3pt ) and facing chad and mason

For those of us stuck watching Cowboys-Cardinals, any summary of what the TD play looked like?

Javon's really impressed me -- Ashley Lelie must feel pretty cool right now ....

Crossing route and Walker just slipped through untouched. Most of the yardage was yac

 Thanks for the details! Is it me, or does it seem like Javon's actually just as fast as Lelie when you account for acceleration? Add in his far superior vision and cutting ability (see his long run from last week) and, seriously, what was Lelie thinking?

I'm sure he would have performed like Walker if he had been paid NUMBER ONE RECEIVER money. ;)

Who the heck is calling the plays for Oakland. Its definitely not that old guy they've been using. Did Davis hire Don Coryell???

I think Walker is just as fast as Lelie. The thing that people also don't mention a lot about Javon is his body control. He has an uncanny ability to adjust to the ball while in the air. It makes him excellent on those fades and jump ball passes.

Leile is too busy dropping balls in Atlanta now....He had a sure TD drop today. I don't miss him in Denver.

Who the heck is Plummer throwing to on these plays? Nearly every pass seems to be at least 10 feet from the nearest receiver.

Javon had what a top 3 WR season last time he was healthy?

why do people still under rate this guy. because he has no Favre? he padded Favre' s stats when he was there imo. the biggest mistake GB did was fight with him on a contract

how's that 2nd rounder looking now to packer fans?

... and Deon went for a 1st :lmao:

Walker STILL with only 1 catch. wtf? I know Plummer sucks and all but cmon at least a few more seems a reasonable expectation.

WHERE THE FRACK IS LAMONT JORDAN ???jesus........
It's a full blown RBBC in Oakland now with Fargas and Crockett
jesus....Art Shell is a complete idiot :wall:
:goodposting: Crockett is 34 years old. Fargas seems to be a good change of pace back. Lamont has PROVEN he is their most talented back, and STILL they won't give him the opportunity to set the pace of the game. The NFL should really investigate the Oakland Raider decision making - I suspect a conspiracy to motivate Tatum Bell here ...

I blame Jake for some of the decisions and bad play, but the bottom line is this team misses Kubiak.

The play calling is terrible. 4th and a half a yard and instead of just using your strength and pounding the ball in there and getting the first, you get cute and try play action and Jake throws an INT.

Instead of attempting to throw the ball downfield 10-15 yards a play--throw the slants, the WR screens, the pass to the back out of the backfield, get Jake some confidence and get some first downs.

The play calling is killing them and is 70% of the reason Denver is struggling on offense.

wow - Is Tatum really this injured with turf toe .. He has absolultey no accceleration or does he even look like he wants to be out there !

Wonder how Shanahan feels about Mike Bell now that they've gone 13 rushes for 32 yards against the swiss cheese run D of the Raiders?

The phrase "too clever by half" comes to mind.

I'm sure they miss Kubiak, but Plummer's picks were just horrendous decisions. Can't blame anybody else but Plummer for those.

Remember when there was talk about inventing a TV that could add smells to what you were watching? It's a good thing they failed.
