Game Thread W11 - Atlanta V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Another excellent call. 3rd and 13 in Ravens territory and they call a run. Lost 5 yards and got knocked out of FG range.

wow, both offenses look like they're trying to lose this game. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

now PK Sam bringing one back to the house...almost....tripped up at the 18

Mora should be shot for that play call....3rd ane goal from the 3 and they call a fade/jump ball by a VERY inaccurate passer to the backup TE who's double covered, instead of either running vick or dunn, or at least throwing a higher percentage pass to crumpler/quick slant to a wr?!

asinine.

Good win for the Ravens yesterday. Obviously, Sams was the MVP of the game for them, but I was really pleased to see that final scoring drive: 87 yards eating up over 8 minutes. I was also encouraged to see the three passes to Jamal Lewis (one on a 4th & 1 play IIRC) - where's that been? Big two games coming up with Cincy & Pittsburgh.

Home games left: Buffalo, Cleveland, Pittsburgh. Away games: Cincinnati, Kansas City, Pittsburgh. Ratbirds are in the driver's seat, and beating the Stillers this week would pretty much drive a stake through those guys' hearts. While it was great to see them dominate the second half with the run, it would be even better to see them put together four good quarters against a good team and be less dependent on special teams play, which has had some letdowns of its own earlier in the season. With an unexpected three-game lead in the division, perhaps maintaining their focus and intensity is understandable; but they're simply not good enough to beat Cincy and Pittsburgh just by showing up. Still, on the season so far.

You're right. But I don't know if they can put a full 60 minute effort together (most teams can't). Their M.O. seems to be to stay in the game enough to get 3 or 4 big plays & try to pull it out that way. They just don't seem to be built to be consistent.3-3 wouldn't surprise me in the last six games. All of the road games arte going to be tough, as is Pitt here. But if they can win the next two, that'll pretty much wrap up the division.

Cincy still has to go to Indianapolis and Denver, Pittsburgh to Carolina and Cincinnati, so 3-3 (11-5 final) should do it.Your analysis of the way they win games is pretty much spot on. They hang around and hope for a big play from the defense/special teams or a last-minute drive led by McNair. He's been great this year with the game on the line.
