Huh? That was an absolutely horrible throw by Manning that had no chance. He was owning the Pats at that point. Instead of altering your throwing motion and forcing it just throw it away. That one will eat at him.

Come on man. I know you'll never say anything negative towards Manning but that last throw was all on him. If Brady had thrown an INT like that you'd be the first one here chirping about how terrible he played.

I didn't disagree that there was no need to make that throw, just that it was into good coverage. I agree it was a bad decision because of the situation in the game, not because the coverage was good. That's all.And had Brady made a similar decision, I would think it was bad for the same reason, but I wouldn't claim he was throwing into "good coverage" if the DB barely fingertip grabs a slightly underthrown pass. Frankly, I was impressed they were playing for the win and not OT. But disappointed in how they went about it.It was an exciting game to watch. Both teams made plays and had their share of mistakes. It will be fun to see them face off again if they both make the playoffs.

It was good coverage and Garcon had a man literally all over him. Not saying Garcon wouldn't have had a chance to catch it, but he was covered and it was a risky throw no matter what way you look at it. As I said, imo manning got caught up in the moment and got a little too greedy. Damn good game, except for the killer picks.
