Game Thread W11 - Miami V Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

Hate this game as an Eagles fan. Win, and you were supposed to. Lose, and you are the butt of jokes all season (the team that Miami beat!!)

All in all though, a chance to get back to .500 after a 1-3 start.

Beautiful TD toss to Brown on a flea flicker, but LJ Smith mugged the guy! Called back for holding.

And nice 26 yard scramble by McNabb on 2nd and 22

Can't see the game...but I'm so sick of the Eagles not trying to run it on 1st down....Reid's play-calling is ridiculous.

wth is going on here? 2INT's? anybody watchin the game? was it mcnabb's fault or deflection? god i hate philly sometimes.

McNabb just left the field for the locker room. Feely warming up.

He got dragged down from behind by a blitzing corner. Taking x-rays of his ankle in the locker room.

The Eagles season is over. I agree that it is time to get Kolb in there to see what he can do. What better team to do it again then the Dolphins?

WHERE IS KOLB?
KOLB IS THE 3RD STRING EMERGENCY QB!! HE WON'T PLAY UNTIL THE EAGLES ARE ELIMINATED FROM THE PLAYOFFS!! IS THAT CLEAR?
I know he's inactive. But I think it's a foolish, foolish move. They talk about Kolb being so good in practice and taking over for McNabb possibly next year. McNabb has had injury issues so he could go down any game. Why not have Kolb activated in case of something like this? Really think Feeley will do better? Just going to have Kolb take over for him without seeing what the kid has? Or when they're eliminated from the playoffs when the team isn't playing 100%?

The QB pecking has been, and will be, 1. McNabb 2. Feeley 3. Kolb. It will stay this way until they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Who is "they"? If "they" is Kolb owners then yes, they have been talking about how Kolb could possibly take over next year. If they is the coaching staff, then, No, they haven't said that.

"CBS Sports reports Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb (ankle) underwent X-rays on his ankle during the Week 11 game. The results were negative and he could return to the game, but he remains on the sidelines."

What does this mean?? Too dinged up?? Did he get benched??? Any official word on the injury. Reports were he was "walking" around the sidelines in uniform.

Did Beck look as bad as his stat line?
No. He didn't. Miami's line did afair job of protecting him, but his recievers did a horrible job of finding holes against Philly's secondary, an the play caling was on the safe side (as expected). All in all, it wasn't a bad first outing for the rookie.

Good questions.Nothing more will probably be said today. I'm sure we'll know this time tomorrow and get an idea of his status for next week's game over next couple of days.
