Game Thread W11 - Pittsburgh V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Steeler marching again. Down to the 37 -- catch by Randle-El. Let's see what happens.Next play - incomplete to Bettis.

 
Nothing for Randel-El on that return. Steeler ball at their own 46 or so. They got to get some points on this drive. Run the ball!!!!!!

 
I hope everyone now realizes how important Burress's presence is to the Steelers' offense. Play action fakes don't have the same effect when it's not #80 running a deep post pattern. Randle El is a solid possession guy, but Burress is a guy the Steelers just don't have a replacement for.It's going to be a much more of a struggle today, but it normally is in Cincinnatti.

 
Roethlisberger to Tuman to the 18 yard line. Great play by Roth! Slipped away from a sack, scrambles to right, touch pass to Tuman.

TD!!!!!!!!!!! Fake to Bettis on 3rd and 2. Pass to Krieder for the TD! No idea how Krieder caught that ball. LB all over him. :stillers:

 
Good return by Cincy. Flags everywhere. Holding on Cincy, 15 yard facemask on Pittsburgh. Cincy with the ball at the 28.

 
Big pass by Palmer to Washington. Williams was pushed down. At the 46. Palmer went deep, incomplete. Ball went to Washington again. Steeler penalty. 1st down Cincy at Steelers 49.Chad Johnson was slow to get up, went off field.

 
Punt.Randel-El doesn't get much on return. Penalty...Steelers with the ball at the 6.I have a feeling about this drive. :D

 
Steelers look like they have moved back to their regular defensive scheme since the second half started -- more crossing blitzes and stunts and a couple of corner blitzes. Offense ran the ball in the red zone that last time, too.

Female Steeler fan just ejected from the game....... LOL. Porter just blew through 2 blockers. Intentional grounding on Palmer.

 
Randle-El *popped* immediately on the punt. Myron Cope (Steelers color guy) is out of control. I'm going to miss him when he hangs it up.

 
Is Hines Ward hurt? He sure is hurting my fantasy team just like he has for the last month (his 2 TD game aside).

no doubt...is he getting any targets? I would think with Burress out, he would be getting more catches than he is...
 
Next to the Baltimore game, this is by far the worst the Steelers have looked. But, good teams win when they have down weeks. Here's to hoping they pull it out. Funny how much faith I have in a rookie QB when it matters. Steelers have blown a ton of scoring chances in the first half.

 
Bettis with another 10 yard runCincy getting frustrated. They want no part of Bettis right now. Personal foul on Cincy for late hit. Run the ball!
