Game Thread W11 - San Diego V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

Nice that they got the safety out of this.

But why on 4th and 1 do they run the ball with Moore? Wouldn't a QB sneak be better? Or run it with FWP who at least has some power.

I didn't see the int, but I did see him have a guy open and decide to toss it away, then fail to notice a guy about to hit him in the end zone....of ALL places that is where you better have big-time pocket presence!

Actually it's mostly I'm mad because I have Jackson :missing:

Looks like Moore is getting the short yardage pounding to save Willie's shoulder. Same reason Ben didn't sneak from the 1. I don't mind the calls. What else are they going to do?

Willie looks like a beast so far! :missing:

Moore didnt block the free rusher. He would have been squished, but it might have been enough.

The Steelers offense is just so frustrating to watch this year.

They'd be a superbowl contender if they could just limit the amount of pressue on Ben.

So SD doesn't have a sack for two weeks and they come in here and have 3 in the first half. Pathetic. Fire Arians and the oline coach.

The Steeler defense so deserves to add a Nnamndi Asomugha to it.

And I'm not knocking Taylor, McFadden or Townsend.

Anthony Smith is a dip#### of epic levels.

He simply cannot help himself and trying to hit people.

He isnt cognizant enough. A great hitter and good skills, but that flaw of his is fatal.

Here comes another LT TD.

...or not. 2/-7 in his last two carries. What a guy.

If the Woodley play vs. the Redskins is any indication, Brett Kiesel should be $10,000 poorer in a few days.

Wow, Rivers is making the SD line look terrible on pass protection today
SD's line is, in fact, terrible. That's been established many times this year. They are as overrated as the Vikings o-line.
They aren't terrible. They have digressed quite a bit though. There are probably somewhere in the middle of the pack now.
What happened on the last 2 runs for LT that he lost a total of -7? PIT selling out for the run?

They ran outside on a fast defense.

That was massive. The go down 14-2 and this game was probably over the way the Steelers O is looking.

Wasting way too much time on 3rd down again.

That's wonderful. When Rivers holds the ball for 4 seconds and doesn't throw it away against a team that brings heat all the time, it's his fault. Welcome to football.edit - I didn't mean welcome to football to you (that looks condescending) I meant welcome to football to Rivers, since apparently he doens't know he should throw the ball away in those situations

One of those negative plays was LT bull####ting his way outside and Vincent Jackson laying a pansy block on Palomalu. The line's fault on that??
