Game Thread W12 - Denver V San Diego (1 Viewer)

First drive for SD stopped for a FG of 53 yards - they were running at will and then quit all of a sudden and Rivers couldn't connect.

What a noodle armed pass.

It's going to be up to the Denver D to keep this within 5 points.

The Tebow getting no love.

Broncos run 6 straight times and then face a 3rd and 5 - where Tebow throws one into the ground - Broncos punt

Flea Flicker pass from Tebow could have been picked

Follows it up with an option run for the first down

It would be cool to see Rivers play like a real NFL QB against a suspect defense...the Bolts need some fire. Scream a little Rivers!

DJ williams hits Tolbert and his helmet comes off and it's a penalty on Denver - I don't agree with the call Williams hit was at the shoulders and went up into the head on a text book tackle

Boy I guess Rivers does suck.

He's thrown for only 63 yards and is below 50% completions at halftime vs the #31 ranked defense vs a QB.

San Diego was a bit over confident with their usage of timeouts. Looks like they managed to save enough time for Denver to score something here.

Tebow to Decker on a bullet for a TD

All set up by an indifferent looking Rivers and the SD offense with 2 min left.

How pathetic has this Charger offense gotten that Norv is calling draws on third and 10 with almost two minutes left in the half

Chargers should have buried the Broncos while they had the chance. At this point Chargers are expecting to find a way to lose and the Broncos are expecting to win at the end.

Tebow put up about 8-11 fantasy points the first half. I am guessing that is his best first half of the season.

It was quite an impressive turn of events. They had Denver pinned inside the 10 and SD was burning timeouts to preserve clock. Too bad they were just saving time for Tebow to score. I am not sure who to blame more, Rivers or the coaching staff.

This is Jackson's week not to produce, but if you sleep on him next week he'll put up 150 and a TD. He is good every other week.

Ok - let set the clock ahead to 3 min left in the game - we all know that is when we'll begin paying attention

I think the doubters are beginning to wonder, LOL. You can see Tebow making strides as a passer. When you take his athleticism & intangibles into account, I believe we're looking at a really nice NFL QB in a year or two. FF-wise, Tebow could be a monster.

I expect the Broncos to slowly integrate more passing into their offense as Tebow continues to improve. Let's face it, they're not a very good team right now, & you can't expect Tebow to come from behind every game nor carry them into the playoffs, but I do like the direction they're headed.

can you give any specifics here? i don't get to watch many Denver games where i'm at, but i'm curious if he is making the improvements where he needs to with his passing. I guess, is he more accurate, or is his delivery better on a consistent basis then it was 5-6 games ago?

The one thing Tebow appears to make the right smart decisions, he doesnt always execute, but I think he has that as a plus
