How disrespectful to the Lions is it for the Colts to take out their starting QB when the 4th quarter hasn't even begun yet. :P

 
I knew this would be the EXACT outcome, how could anyone even think that the Moochie and the POOSY CATS could hang? Poor KJ, better on my bench then in my lineup!I wish I didn't have to say POOSY. I would have rather just said ##### #### #### #### ###-master ####-licker ##### butt-pirate loser instead.

No doubt.Here's how ridiculous the Colts offense is this year. I had Edge, my opponent had Manning and Wayne. And I'm actually relatively happy with the game, because at least Edge outscored Wayne. I just expect Manning to get his 40 points.

 
Is anyone else as disgusted by this as I am? I mean, they are killing the lions and they just keep tossing td passes...... run the ball and kill the clock............ put the lions out of their misery.

Yup... I am complete disgusted that I took the afternoon off to watch this crap.I am facing Manning and Harrison in a must win situation in a TD league (with 100 and 300 pass bonuses) and well lets say it isn't looking too good.I am already down 39 points!! And there is a quarter of ball left. :wall:
 
I can't wait for that too.  Then again I probably won't be in any redrafts next year.  The more QBs that go in the first next season, the more I smile.

So if you are in any redrafts you would PASS ??? :confused: At what pick would you pass ?? 1? 2? 3? 4? 5?.....and..who the heck would you pick over him ???:horns:

I'd pass until at least the late 2nd round. I can't wait to see how many people take Manning #1 overall and cry their eyes out halfway through the season when he's not on pace to throw 50 TDs again.

You know what the ironic thing is to me at least? It won't even matter. Marino set that record in 1983, the era of plan b free agency and stacked teams. Manning can throw as many TDs as he wants, it still won't be worth half as much as the records that came before the salary cap era. The Colts have some good games coming up. vs Baltimore, San Diego and Denver all in a row. We'll actually get a good measure of the playoff worthiness of all four of those teams. Since the Colts have lost 3 of 4 games to good teams this year (Pats, Jax, KC), I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 1-2 in that stretch with only normal numbers for the Indy O.

How about going against Manining and Harrison, I am 8-2 in my league, both games I lost were against teams that started guys who had career high games. Looks like this will be another loss as I'm already down 60 plus points. :no:

I'm glad they took Manning out I don't want him to get hurt! :thumbup: Besides, he's already scored me 51pts. Between him, Stokley and Indy def I'm already leading my opponent 97 to nothing. :P

 
Man...in my money league one guy has Manning and Harrison, and is up 77-0 :eek: The funny thing is that he's in 10th place in a 16 team league...he used his first two picks on them and is actually playing Eddie George still, along side T.J. Duckett...his TEAM sucks. Manning/Harrison account for 75% of his points every week. I'm comfortably in first, and am hoping he misses the playoffs though....i'd hate to face him as the 8th seed....it would figure.

Marino set the record in 1984.Plan B began in 1989.Why are records that came before the salary cap era better? I'd say the opposite is true. Seems to me having a "stacked team" would make it much easier to get a record. Now if you wanted to talk about the volume of pass attempts in 1984 vs. today, that might make more sense.
 
Can Manning be more greedy ???? Inside the 5 and he still throws!!! I Guess he doesn't want Edge to get a big contract next year! Manning=selfish jerk! :boxing:

Not when you have to play against more stacked teams. Yeah the bottom was really bad then, but the top was top notch and average was better than average today. I'm not even sure if the Colts have even faced a team with a top defense besides New England. Not top rated, but a team that we can all agree has a pretty good secondary in addition to a good defense overall.Another thing is inflation. Because of free agency, most teams seem to be concentrating on a good offense at the expense of a good defense. The more the rules change to favor the offense, the worse the defenses will become. QB numbers are up as a whole since the Plan B days. All you have to do is look at the bottom. The lower passing yard QBs were throwing for 1,500 - 2,500 yards. Now the bottom guys are throwing for 2,700+ minimum. Teams are passing more, they are better at it because of the emphasis of offense and the defenses are worse than they were 20 years ago. The fact that Manning plays 8 of his games in a dome every year sours it for me too. You can't really compare eras anyway. Manning is playing in a completely different time than Marino did, so to compare what Manning did to what Marino did 20 years ago makes no sense to me really. What Manning is doing is great for the free agency era, but I expect this record to be broken much sooner than Manning broke Marino's. Kinda like how Bonds broke the HR record 2 years after McGwire did it.
