Oakland has all the leverage in this one. Blank would easily give up a #1 for Moss, and likely something else too.Crumpler as the possession receiver and Moss with the deep thread would be huge

What Vick really needs is a physical receiver who isn't afraid to go get a ball. They should've gone after Javon Walker.

What a joke this Falcons team is. People talking about how Vick ruins this club, yet 3 first round draft picks that can't catch, a coach that has the ball inside the five first and goal and doesn't know how to run the ball, and they even quit at the end. I know you can't win, but taking the finla 2:22 to just run the ball and go through the motions shows just how much heart this team has from the top on down....NONE. Hopefully Mora doesn't take any more of appy's advice, because he wasn't overly successful either. UGH!
who cares? not even fantasy-related...you have 2:30 left and all you do is half-heartedly hand off to get it overwith? maybe try to complete a pass to your ##### soon-to-be-cut WRs to get them at least a shred of confidence going into next game...or maybe get schaub some work, whatever...but don't just look like a bunch of quitters taking your ball and going home.

2nd problem
ATL has no play makers beyond Vick on offense. The WRs don't get open, and when they are open, can't catch the ball. Dunn is a decent RB, but he's on the downside of a decent career. Norwood should probably be getting the bulk of the work just because of his big play ability.
3rd problem
The OC sucks. 1st and goal on the 8, "best rush attack" in the league, an "average at best" passing QB, and you throw it 3 straight times? They have the worst RZ offense in the league, and the most mobile QB in the league. QB draws, bootlegs, sweeps, spread it out with 5 wr. Run the damn ball. On the 4th down on the 2, the camera went to Mora, and he yelled "POUND IT", and the called a run on 4th down and got a TD. With that Denver run system, on a 1st and goal, they should be running it, or rolling out the qb for a pass/run option. Dropping back, sitting Vick in the pocket, on the 5 yard line, is beyond ######ed. Teams are double covering Crumpler, so you've got Jenkins/White playing against 3-4-5 DBs. Uh yah.
The LEAST of the Falcons problems are the QB. The D is small and wears down, the secondary is ###, JA is always hurt, and the LBs are suspect. Using two first round picks on WRs has really hurt the team. They should have stuck with a run first offense, and built the D. Used a Ravens/Pitt style of offense, with a great D. Trying to surround Vick with weapons, doesn't do much good if the D is horrible. Vick is his own weapon, and with the Denver run system, they are good enough to win games.

i have been one of Vick's biggest supporters for years and its obvious that this situation in Atlanta is coming to a head. Whether it means Vick goes, Mora Jr goes, they need to do SOMETHING. I think Vick is the least of their worries, but the fans were awfully vocal today, booing time after time. Vick was absolutely shredding that defense running the ball today, and should have at least had 200 yards passing with all the huge yardage drops they had. Its unreal how bad those WR's are, I mean REALLY. They are PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS. I never thought a team would miss Brian Finneran so much
lelie isn't a world beater, but he is just few seasons removed from 1,100 yd, 7 TD season...
maybe he is outcast due to lack of run blocking, but his deep speed might loosen up defense for run purposes even more...
jenkins is better than he showed today, but white seems to have serious concentration issues...
