Game Thread W14 - Denver v San Diego (1 Viewer)

Pretty worthless way to break a record? up 41-20 and still having your first team in.Would of been said if LT would of tore his ACL for a worthless TD.
Oh please. Alexander would sit out an entire half and be rushed in for the 1 yard dive. LT did this the hard way in an incredible single season performance.
Missing my point, the last few weeks several player have suffered signifcant injuries.. Why rish it with this guy in a meaningless spot.
He can get hurt any time. There's no guarantee of next week. Here's a similar story. When I was a junior in high school, one of my buddies was 50 yards short of the school rushing record with three games to go. The first of these three games was against a lightly regarding opponent and he carried the ball three times for 42 yards before he was pulled to save him for the playoffs. The next game, he gained four yards on the first carry, leaving him four yards short. After the play, somebody cheapshotted him and ruptured his spleen and his season ended four yards short of the record.

It gets it out of the way. "Get LT2 the record" is no longer on anyone's minds.
He would of broke it next week "at home" anyways....I am just saying coaches take a chance with his star up 21 with 3 minutes left. I guess he feels he can't have a Peterson type accident or a Donovan McNabb type accident..He goes down SD is done.
But he didn't.Guess thats why he is an NFL coach and we are just watching.
