Game Thread W14 - Houston v Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Bengals are doing a good job of bottling up the Houston running game. Other than Tate's 44 yarder where he was pretty much untouched, Tate and Foster are in the 2 and 3 yard per carry average range.

Dalton sacked but defensive holding on Jason Allen gives the Bengals a first down.

 
Benson isn't finding much running room this drive. Just as I type that, another run and 3 Texans in the backfield including a safety to drop him for a loss.

 
Shovel pass to Scott who is stood up about 3 yards short of the first down, but his O-line arrives and shove the pile forward. Looks like it's short but they will measure.

Yep, short.

Texans out of timeouts, Bengals come to the line on 4th and 1 to try to draw Houston off, and the right guard false starts. So maybe it wasn't just to draw them off, you'd hope the O-line won't move when they know it isn't being snapped.

A Texan did jump and get back, but he was at the other end of the line, so it doesn't count as reacting to the defense crossing the line.

Foster's in. Incompletion to Vickers first play. Then a first down to Owen Daniels in a throw right to the marker.

 
Bengals get a free run at Yates. He stands in against the blitz and gets away a bit of a high pass to Owen Daniels who goes up and pulls it in for a 6 yard catch. 2 minute warning.

 
Incompletion to Kevin Walter, and then Owen Daniels tips a pass and catches it on the second try for a first down.

 
Yates big throw up the middle of the field, Walter with the catch with a few defenders around him and a big hit delivered but he hangs on.

Texans spike it to stop the clock.

 
Yates gets free of a sack but then stumbles and hit again. Goes down, ball comes out but after he hit the ground. Clock running.

 
Yates sidesteps 3 pass rushers and doesn't so much run as lumbers upfield for a first down.

Texans spike the ball, 24 seconds left.

 
From the 23, incompletion to Daniels. Ball tipped but no one can bring it in. I think the Texans got away with a false start there.

 
Yates just overthrows Jacoby Jones. Jones gets his arm grabbed by Pacman. Pass interference called, at about the 5 maybe?

 
Kevin Walter runs a shallow slant from the right side, loses the defender soon as he makes his cut to run the slant and is wide open for the touchdown.

 
Bengals try a lateral on the kick off, Tate threw it to no one basically, Bengal came back to pick it up and tackled near goal line.

 
Titans with the ball, 7 seconds at the 5. Nate Washington hurt and being carried off by his teamate so it won't be a run off.

 
unbelievable... devastating way to give away a game. Hopefully they can recover from this meltdown to show up next week. Theyre all must wins now.
