Jets losing Leonard is huge going forward. They got by without him last post season but it still sucks. I hurts on special teams as well. The guy catches every punt

 
CBS: Please switch over to a game that doesn't suck. Thanks.

Watching Palko try to pass against the Jets D while down 25 is going to be horrifying.

:goodposting: There's a huge upgrade in athleticism with Pool over Leonhard, but the fact that Leonhard makes all the secondary calls on a defense that is dependent on communication can't be overlooked. And of course, his reliability catching punts is huge too. Hopefully he's not done for the year.

:goodposting: There's a huge upgrade in athleticism with Pool over Leonhard, but the fact that Leonhard makes all the secondary calls on a defense that is dependent on communication can't be overlooked. And of course, his reliability catching punts is huge too. Hopefully he's not done for the year.

Yes, Pool had a good post-season, but Leonhard brings so many intangibles.I love the guy, but if he's got an ACL or something, they'll probably have to let him go. He's a FA after the season. Might be a good excuse to find themselves a top end safety. They need to improve their ability to cover guys over the middle.

If Wayne Hunter continues to play at a decent level instead of terribly, then safety is definitely where they should spend their first round pick this season.
