Game Thread W15 - San Diego v Kansas City (1 Viewer)

was he at 199 or 195?

They said 199 but NFL.com and Yahoo are showing 195. The 4 yards makes a big difference for me..sadly

Difference between needing 2 or 3 points from my kicker to advance....

There also seems to be a discrepancy in carries... 24 for NFL.com, 25 according to NBC.

NFL.com hasn't updated. I think he ended with 25/199. I heard Michaels mention that he's leaving one yard short of 200. I'm 99% sure that it is 199.

Sportsline's blog says 199.

I really hope they fix that... as insignificant as it might seem, for those of us in fractional scoring leagues it's worth 0.2pts.... as close as my game is that could be the difference between going to a superbowl or not....

I'm pretty sure the difference is whether or not the -4 yard play was a rush or a sack. I was watching live scoring at AOL and I think they took those four yards away from his total and then gave them back at some point.

is this jaw thing to be a worry...he looks in pain.
doubtful (not he'll be listed doubful, I mean it's doubtful to be an issue).do the chargers get home field throughout if the colts lose tomorrow?
no baltimore is still right there.......but baltimore plays an early game next week and SD a late. might need an indy win tommorow.
so i guess if indy loses tomorrow and so does baltimore then it might be an issue if that means they clinch home field before the game next week. he looked like it hurt but i'm not thinking it's an issue right now.

I've dissed Jammer for a couple of years now but I have to give him the props he deserves for last nights performence. He was having a great game even before some late plays that prompted praise from the announcers. LJ ran off-tackle to the right and Jammer made a great one-on-one tackle without any help. Not many CB's can stop LJ in that situation. Also the best I've seen Jammer play in coverage since..... ever. Maybe this guy could "turn the corner" after all. It was a physical game and seemed to really play to his strengths.

Lots of hand-wringing about Rivers but how many people expected him to finish in the top 5 in QB rating as his first year as starter? Still playing much better than I think anyone(besides MT) could have expected. Of the QB's starting right now he's still #5.

Jammer did have a great game, hard for me to say since I'm an unfan of his for some time now.

I think the Rivers handwringing is merited, he's been bad 3 of his last 4 and things don't get easier from here if the Chargers are going to do anything in the playoffs. He's stepping off when he needs to be stepping up - hopefully that gets corrected in the next two games.

LaDainian has a realistic shot at breaking the yards from scrimmage record, and also is still "only" about 100 yards ahead of LJ for the rushing title. I think both things are important to him and the team, and I think they'll try and get him those records, so I'd be less concerned than normal at him missing much time.

This year there have been two Quentin Jammers... the one we all know and hate, and the one that plays alongside McCree. Jammer's play has been pretty solid all year, with the exception of the games where McCree has been too busted up. When Marlon is gone, we see the same old pass interference calls and blown coverage on 3rd and long.

Interesting observation - why do you think that is?

According to Jammer, McCree does the thinking for the secondary. Not exactly sure what that means, but I'm happy it's working for him.

anybody hear sterling sharpe at halftime??? that guy just topped my idiot list with his playoff picks.he predicts sf will win the division. in order for that to happen they have to win out and seattle lose out. he also predicts that neither the broncos or begals will get in, even though they play next week guaranteeing on of them gets to at least 9 wins. i wonder if he'd like to put a little money behind those words???
He is a fool.
Or a genius. (On the Broncos-Bengals thing).
