Game Thread W3 - Houston V Tennessee (1 Viewer)

CJ has 52 total yards at the half, I'm not too concerned.
CJ will get his share of touches, just no where near the endzone. He is the setup guy for White.
All I know is if one of them goes down the other is going to be very good.
So far, Tennessee has played the Bengals, Texans, and a badly banged up Jaguars. At some point they won't be able to afford the luxury of wasting touches or repeated carries at the goalline on Lendale. I think that's when we see CJ (or Fisher's stubbornness) shine.

Just be patient with CJ. He had a pretty good game, LOL. Chris Johnson is one of the most explosive RBs to come out in years. The difference between CJ & White is like night & day. White has gotten to punch it in, but becoming a feature back is a process. At some point, TEN (& Fisher) will let CJ become their true feature back.

CJ has gotten many more touches than his distractors thought. And he's produced. It's only a matter of time before CJ is a FF stud.

Johnson will have 1500 yards and ten total TD's. He's hardly done anything yet and he has over 270 yards in 3 games.

Averaging over 5 ypc and looking good.

The only thing negative you can say about him is that he isn't getting goalline carries right now..

The most frustrating thing about Hou so far is Schaub. I drafted the dude based on all the love he got from the FBG's preseason rankings and write-ups. They were supposed to air it out due to their lack of run game. Geez, what a disappointment. Now it's to the WW on Tuesday in hopes of being able to pick up Sage or whoever else is left.

I think dropping Schaub at this point is unnecessarily hasty. The Steelers and Titans are both top notch pass D's. If O'Sullivan is still out there, I'd consider that... but I wouldn't drop him for his backup. I don't think the coaching staff will give up on him while he's still healthy.... unless he proves to be as inept and turnover prone against more mediocre defenses.

Remember it was FBG's who gave all the love to Kitna last year. How did that turn out?
